Hopefully the same goes for Josh Gordon.

link

The Pittsburgh Steelers announced Tuesday the NFL conditionally reinstated wide receiver Martavis Bryant.

"We appreciate that he has taken the necessary steps in an effort to get his personal life in order," Steelers general manager Kevin Colbert said. "We also understand this is just the beginning as he works to return to the team and meet all of the conditions of his reinstatement."

Bryant received an indefinite suspension that was to last no less than one year in March 2016.

He can join Pittsburgh for preseason activities if he meets certain conditions, and the league will re-evaluate his status before the regular season.

so he was granted reinstatement BEFORE the draft and Gordon was suspended DURING the draft

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Jeudy is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Tillman is flanked out wide to the right. Judkins and Ford are split in the backfield as Flacco takes the snap ... Here we go."

Gordon was suspended well before the draft. The news broke during the draft.

Did we even draft a single WR that year?

Everyone "knew" it'd be Marquise Lee in the 2nd round. And we ended up taking Bitonio.

Am I the only one that pronounces hyperbole "Hyper-bowl" instead of "hy-per-bo-le"?

Let's put this one down before the Draft. Can he be put on the practice squad? Wasted trust on him too often.

Lol, I really wanted Lee though. I thought the other one (the Penn Stater who ended up quite good) should be our 3rd round selection. Don't think he was available either

Edit: Damn just looked it up Lee went after Joel. Go figure.

Joel is a good player, no complaints there

Screw Josh Gordon. I hope he never plays another down for the Browns.

I think the chances of him playing another down in the NFL are south of 10%. And that's generous. He obviously finds the narcotics more important than football.

More likely to embarrass another team with yet another year long suspension and extended rehab.

Who is actually embarrassed about Josh Gordon besides Josh Gordon?

Seriously, if you actually experience real embarrassment, you might want to re-evaluate yourself and just where it is that you think you fit in with things.

Browns is the Browns

... there goes Joe Thomas, the best there ever was in this game.
