I'm good with King. He'd be a nice get

I've been a big King fan for quite a while, as well as Rasul Douglas. I think Douglas goes to Dallas or Green Bay - I can't tell you why I think that as I don't know myself.....

I think it's Awuzie. I saw him on NflNetwork and just liked him. He seemed competitive and intelligent with great highlights. I remember his name was real hard. I dunno enough to say if he's a FS or CB, but we could use either

The other guys I like are Smith Schuster, who I think is real talented and could be a nice redzone receiver for us and Kamara.

With QBs I like Davis and Peterman the same followed by Kaaya. Dobbs would be 4th.

The Hulk doesn't have the speed to play 3T. He'd be better as a NT imo.

I've heard the rumor for a couple of months now and this may be where the Browns pull the string.

The Browns trade oft injured and high contract Joe Hayden for picks - possible partners:

Hayden and 5th Round pick #145 to the LAChargers for Round 2 pick #38 and Round 4 pick #113 or

Hayden and 5th Round pick #145 to the Eagles for Round 2 pick #43 and Round 4 pick #119 and 7th Round pick #194

Jimmy Johnson's trade chart makes this a fair deal.

This is off the top of my head so I have missed a bunch of guys, but there is still a ton of talent left in positions of need.

I'll update this for picks in the 5th and 6th rounds if I have a chance tomorrow.

Remaining picks:

Round 2, Pick 20 (No. 52)
Round 3, Pick 1 (No. 65)
Round 5, Pick 1 (No. 145)
Round 5, Pick 32 (No. 175)
Round 5, Pick 37 (No. 181)
Round 6, Pick 1 (No. 185)
Round 6, Pick 4 (No. 188)

My projected remaining needs in order:

QB- (It's just not going to happen this year and I'm glad we didn't reach)

FS-

2nd-
Obi-Not going to make it past Seattle at #34
Baker-I'm not a fan of tiny FS's
Marcus Williams- plays the run better than most FS's.

3rd-
Justin Evans- tweener safety but I think he's a better fit at FS.
Desmond King- Better FS than CB in my opinion.

5th-
6th-

CB-

2nd-
Kevin King- Huge value here.
Awuzie- Might actually be better at FS. More of a zone corner.
Sidney Jones- Good in press coverage. Willing tackler.
Quincy Wilson- Lots of natural ability, but gambles a lot.
[censored] Tabor- Great size/speed combo. Plays with a mean streak.
Jourdan Lewis- More of a Nickel CB in my opinion.
Cordrea Tankersley- Physical press man corner.

3rd
Fabian Moreau- Great value in the 3rd

5th
6th

RT-

2nd-
Cam Robinson - potential to be the best RT in the league, but I don't think he'll ever be a LT and replace Joe T.
3rd-
David Sharpe- Road Grader.

5th-
6th-

WR-

2nd-
Zay Jones- Love this guy. He reminds me of Anquan Bolden
JuJu Smith-Schuster- More of a #2 WR.

3rd-
Carlos Henderson- Limited to a Tavon Austin type role. Great in YAC, but bigger CB's can shut him out on the outside.
Cooper Kupp- I really like this guy. Not the fastest WR, but runs polished routes and fights for the ball.
ArDarius Stewart- huge catch radius. Great speed and RAC. Needs to improve route running.
Chris Godwin- Lots of WR's left in the 3rd.

5th-
6th-

3-tech-

2nd-
Malik McDowell- Best player left on my board, but 3T isn't our biggest need.
Caleb Brantley- Love his motor and has multiple rush moves.
Chris Wormley- Will need some time to develop.

3rd-
Montravius Adams- Versitile enough to play 0 and 5 as well.
Carlos Watkins- Would be a great fit with his athleticism.

5th-
6th-

MLB-

2nd-
Zach Cunningham- good fit for William's system.
Raekwon McMillan- Good against the run. Liability in coverage.

3rd-
Blair Brown- Great value. From Ohio

5th-
6th-

RB-

2nd-
Dalvin Cook- Good value in the 2nd but not our biggest need.
Curtis Samuel- Another Duke Johnson IMHO.
Alvin Kamara- more shifty then powerful. Not a good fit.

3rd- Joe Mixon- Too many good RB's out there to take a guy with his problems.
D'Onta Foreman- Love this guy. Big physical guy that runs with finesse as well.
Marlon Mack- Another Mack in Cleveland?

5th-
6th-

You may be right, but with Lamp still available, Seattle has to take a long, hard look at him - assuming Ifedi to RT is true.

If we go rb, there are some decent options. Mixon, Hunt, Kamara, Cook

Yesterday we improved the teams pass rush, run defense, and red zone offense.

I think at 52 and 65 they need to improve the passing game and secondary.

Striking out on trading for Garrapolo and Cousins. Then opting to not select cousins I think they must attempt to bring in a possible QB. Just do not know which one would be best. Kizer, Webb, Peterman, Dobbs, or Kaaya. The Browns need to select one.

They also must find a center fielder to play FS. Budda Baker, Marcus Williams, Marcus MAYE, or Desmond King.

I actually don't like Marcus Maye. I'd rather wait until 145 and hope Rayshawn Jenkins, John Johnson, or Delano Hill make it there than take Maye at 52 or 65.

I want more defense !!

FS and CB.... in that order. Marcus Williams would be just fine with me at 52. There are a few very viable options for CB at 65.

With players like Cook, Cam, McDowell, Cunningham and Kizer all available ... I feel like something good will fall to us. Heck if it's anything like yesterday there will be a smorgasbord available for us !

52 Kevin King - CB
School: Washington. Long-limbed cornerback with size and ball skills. Could be a steal here.

65. Cleveland Browns: Tanoh Kpassagnon, DE, Villanova

Davis Webb goes a few spots later. As does Sidney Jones.

King at 52 would be awesome. I'd like to see if we could trade down from 65 to 79 and 86 with Minny, throwing in one or 2 later picks also.

Desmond King is still available in that mock. I think he'll make a great free safety with time.

King and King.

Would still like Marcus Williams or Baker as the foil to Peppers.

Kevin King definitely does appeal...his length is ridiculous and would give us an edge on mismatches...I wonder as his run support leaves alot to be desired...would that steer us away? HE however is so long and talented my fear is He'll be gone before we pick.

I've never seen the kid from Villonova play...heck I think the last time I watched Nova was basketball with Kerry Kittles lol...Ill have to look around on the guy.

Desmond King I know was highly toured back in Feb. Everyone saying he was a late 1st and or early 2nd round pick...but I know his stock has taken a hit lately (on just mocks alone) bit could be someone to keep an eye on...as I love a safety with corner instincts.

King was a CB in Iowa but there are concerns with his speed to cover outside. However, he ran 4.5 at his pro-day and his short-shuttle, 3-cone drills at the combine were great. he is a ball hawk, fluid and I think would transition to free safety really well. He also plays with an edge. Gotta love that. I think he would actually make a great CB against the bigger receivers.

Just saw this. I don't have an opinion. Thoughts?

http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000...-day-2-of-draft

Jets are Shopping Sheldon Richardson on Day 2 of Draft

Sheldon Richardson remains on the trade block.

Entering the second night of the 2017 NFL Draft, the New York Jets have been making calls regarding a potential trade of the 2013 Defensive Rookie of the Year, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported, via a source informed of the situation.

This was the plan entering the draft, Rapoport added, but general manager Mike Maccagnan won't give Richardson away for pennies on the dollar.

Maccagnan was reportedly seeking a first-round pick in exchange for the 2014 Pro Bowler at last year's trade deadline.

Now that Richardson is the "odd man out" of the defensive line rotation and due to earn roughly $8 million in the final year of his rookie contract, Maccagnon is negotiating from a position of weakness.

The New York Post suggested earlier this month that a fourth-round pick is as much as the Jets can reasonably hope for in return for a suspension risk intent on breaking the bank with his next contract.

There is no level of sucking we haven't seen; in fact, I'm pretty sure we hold the patents on a few levels of sucking NOBODY had seen until the past few years.

No thanks, he's served 2 or 3 suspensions if I recall correctly, that makes me assume he's a "mistake" away from being Gordonized and booted for a year or more.

Maybe a conditional pick, 6th rounder in 2018 if he stays completely clean in 2017, and nothing if he doesn't.

Sheldon Richardson was supposed to be one of the big toxic characters in the Jets locker room. Great player, but not ideal for this team. Plus, always a suspension risk

What's your grade and assessment of Justin Evans? S Tex A&M ??

PFF have him rated highly and he sounds like he has some speed and range?

Like I said, I'm OK, worth the risk. Doesn't work out, take one next year in 1st round. Plenty of DBs left to take at 65 or trade down and get some value and an extra 4th

Based on the type of player the Browns have been drafting, athletic guys with upside, and based solely on NFL . com's bio, here are some players who may be on their radar.

Chad Hansen, WR
Nate Hairston, CB
Jadar Johnson, S
Wayne Gallman, RB

I'd like to see us pick up Desmond King or Kazee - I think we could pick up a fairly early 4th for our 145 plus one or maybe two of 175,181,185 or 188.

If we can snag one of those, I think I'd be happy. King I think will go fairly early. Kazee may last till our 145 given the number of DBs already taken.

I don't think we need another 5 draft selections, would much rather pick up 2, maybe 3 more players higher up.

Would be very happy if this happened:

145 Elder
175 Rayshawn Jenkins
181 Ryan Switzer
185 Ishmael Zamora
188 Aviante Collins

That being said each of those first three guys seem very unlikely to make it to those spots.

I would take either of those DBs, but like you said, we have aways to go (38), unless we can move up.

Kicker, Zane Gonzalez is a player I highly coveted for this draft also.

There are a lot of good players remaining, some that will go early 4th and some that will go undrafted. Of course that's my opinion.

Here is a fun little way to try and get who you like. It's a four round mock, rounds 4 thru 7:
