Sweet. Now you need a good lawn mower, weed whacker and grill. Definitely a grill, but it's an HOA so they cover the lawn stuff.

I made it to Lancaster, Pennsylvania on Friday. Pretty quiet town, and a new part of my life journey brought me here.
My girlfriend, which a relationship built on distance for the first five months, lives here with her parents in the summer. Everything is exceeding my expectations with translating this to in-person. This will work quite well.

This will work quite well. I attended my cousin's college graduation there once upon a time ago. Can't remember the college but, it is either in or near Lancaster. I remember the town and then going to Philly and down to Delaware. Schools are still in session here. We had a bad winter so, the school year was extended. Two more weeks for me but, my son finishes this week as his school resumes before Labor Day.

Next week I get to see my little sister for the first time in two years. My friends and I are taking our giant robot, Mechan 9, to a music festival in Michigan. My sister and brother in law are driving up from Columbus to work on our crew. It's the furthest I'll have travelled with my art. Which is cool. It's even cooler to be able to include my family in the festival work/fun. Giving them a VIP crew experience to a festival they've attended as patrons for the past 2 or 3 years. A week of sharing time with them. Can't wait.

Technically I'm not supposed to say in a public setting. I know it sounds weird but some of these festivals like to keep their installation art secret so the patrons have a bunch to discover each year. Check your PM

My summer tour across the US continues! Drove through to Chattanooga all day yesterday.
We just visited Lookout Mountain in complete downpour and fog, took a dive through Ruby Falls, and now it's time for the aquarium. We're here for a friend's wedding, Kings Island on Sunday, and then my gal gets accustomed to NE Ohio for a few days starting Monday.
This summer rocks.

This is good news to me........but some may see it as "horn tooting".
Umped 2 softball games today. Tournament games (league tourney - not state or anything like that)
I was behind the plate for the first game. Didn't have a single coach gripe or question anything. When it was over, I was walking out and a guy - fan - came up to me. My first thought was "Well, here goes".
His comment was "We've had some bad umps here. That's why I was in dead center field watching you with binoculars." Me, to myself: "Uh oh."
He continued "I've never seen an ump as consistent in calling balls and strikes as you were today. You didn't miss a call. Great job today."
I didn't really know what to say. I just said "thank you. I try."
When the second game was over, the head of the tourney came up to me. He'd been watching also, as it was the first time I"d umped there. He said "You know, I got your name from a different school. They recommended you. You did a great job. If you don't mind, I'm keeping your number. Your professionalism was excellent. These girls deserve that. I'd like to have you do more games here, in "this town", in "that town", etc."
Again, I didn't know what to say, other than "Thanks, I try. And yeah, I'll do more." He gave me a list of games......checked them out and said "well, I already have games for most of those nights."
"No problem. Plan on being here next year."
Wow! I felt good.
No, these weren't OHSAA games. But man, there was some good softball played.

I know some folks on here, so I need to add, NO, my daughter wasn't on any of the teams. Archbold is one of the few schools around here that doesn't even HAVE a h.s. team in the summer.
No, it wasn't a "local" game.
I didn't know any of the coaches, nor any of the players.

Perhaps we could get you to ump some Indians games? Ha. I bet they'd pay more. Sadly, I'm only licensed for OHSAA games, under NFHS rules. (and ASA rules). So I doubt MLB will be calling.

Shame, we could use some fair umping at that level! How does one go about getting licensed to be a Major League Ump?

Enroll in school. In order to be considered for a professional umpiring position, the umpire must first attend a professional umpire training school. ... Get noticed. ... Finish at top of class. ... Begin assignment in lower league. ... Wait for 'The Call'

I solved two major things my online business was struggling with this year. First at the beginning of the year, our adsense earnings tanked. This is kind of normal because companies tend to buy more ad space as the year goes along, and stop after the christmas shopping holidays. So it tanks every year, and then builds back up. I use the adsense earnings to pay for the server. But this year it wasnt building back up. It was just staying tanked. So it took a bit of reconfiguring with different ad sizes until I got it solved. And things are back to normal and even performing better than ever. It made me very happy. That was a couple months ago. Then... I was tricked by the evil Google. They sent me email "switch to https or we will penalize your rankings" Fine, everybody is switching to https, I might as well also. It tanked my page rank badly. Even after articles swore it wouldnt, well it did. THANKS GOOGLE! So for months our traffic has been hindered. Its been really aggravating me, and I researched it every night for months, And spent time tweaking things and nothing helped. So finally I looked at it from a different point of view and changed some things and BAM we are up to the top of page 3 for a major keyword. Traffic back to normal! I am so happy to have that fixed. Lets hope no other major issues for the rest of the year, I have had enough.

Congrats Eve. Hope everything continues to go well.
Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

Inmates Rushed to Save Guard Who Passed Out: 'We Had to Help Him'https://www.yahoo.com/news/inmates-rushed-save-guard-passed-230500544.htmlDeborah Hastings Inside Edition June 20, 2017 Six Georgia inmates have been praised for saving the life of a correctional officer after he collapsed while they were on a work detail. The prisoners were weeding and cleaning a local cemetery when the unidentified guard passed out, face-down, in hot and humid temperatures, authorities said. The inmates rushed to the man’s side, turned him over and removed his gun belt. Then the prisoners removed the officer’s bulletproof vest and began CPR. Another inmate used the man’s cell phone to call 911. At first, the guard did not seem to be getting any air, the prisoners said. “When he started breathing, it was just real heavy and real fast,” inmate Greg Williams told CBS19. Paramedics arrived and helped revive the guard. Polk County Sheriff Johnny Moats saluted the prisoners’ actions. “They really stepped up in a time of crisis and showed that they care about my officers,” Moats told the station Tuesday. “That really speaks a lot about my officers, too, [and] how they treat these inmates. They treat them like people. Like family.” The incident was a far cry from the acts of two other Georgia inmates who killed two guards while escaping a prison van and then led authorities on a massive manhunt before they were caught in Tennessee last week. “We all know that Monday could have ended differently for our officer,” Moats said. “It wasn’t about who is in jail and who wasn’t," Williams said. It was about a man going down and we had to help him."
