Yea that spat between smart/IT and TT got them fired up a bit

They are starting to fight back now. I feel like the Cavs went into cruise control again. Plus Marcus Smart flopped his way into a couple of fouls on TT, and gave the crowd some energy.

Cavs getting punked and outworked right now. Seriously. Show you have some balls and step on their throat. Don't let them lose by anything less than 20 or you give them hope for game 2

They are starting to fight back now. This is why I dislike playing against the Celtics. A highly competitive team, that probably doesn't have the talent to hang with big dogs, so they default to these chippy little plays to show how competitive they are. Honestly, I'd prioritize getting out of here healthy is so much more important than sweeping.

Probably a defensive liability with Jaylon and Crowder on the floor. Too much speed for him. I don't think he played that much in the first few finals games because of this.
Dirty play by IT. Not surprised.

But I digress, I was just making an observation about JR, same with deron. Boston was a team I thought they'd have a pretty good series

I don't see how Boston is going to find a way to dig deeper when they look to be running on fumes

Stifle!
How can anyone complain about the Cavs in this game? Sheesh!
Anyway:
--Like I said earlier in the playoffs, I have never seen LeBron more focused than he is in this year's playoffs.
--Many Cavs fans don't appreciate the guy, but guys who played the game appreciate just how much TT does for this team. He was huge in shutting down Thomas and Boston had no answer for his energy on the offensive boards.
--Love was unreal. He was abusing them inside and out.
--Our defensive intensity was very good. What a difference from the regular season.
--We are so deep. We make substitutions and we still have excellent players on the floor.
--I love this team!!!!

The Cavs finally spent some time running the offense through Love and it worked beautifully. Been begging them to do that.

Like I said earlier in the playoffs, I have never seen LeBron more focused than he is in this year's playoffs. I read an article earlier about Game 6 in 2012 against Boston. I think for one game. No one has ever been as determined as James was in that game. But overall, for an entire playoffs. It's just.. wow.

Watching that Olynk play again made me angry all over again. Completely dirty, cheap shot.

I think the problem that year was the refs allowed the chippy play ALL SERIES.
And because of that. Backs against the wall, they felt like they could cross the line.

I remember reading something somewhere that was saying that Brad Stevens told Olynyk before that play something along the lines of "No matter what it takes, you're not letting Love get another rebound while you're in there." Talk about a "sweep the leg" kind of coach.

I was happy the refs kept the game under control.
We're trying to throw the ball downfield and he checked the ball down to Trent Richardson and the Indians on the choice.

There was a play in the first, where Kevin Love got a defensive rebound right next to Olynk and Olynk just casually tried to poke the ball lose from under Kevin's arm. I could have screamed bloody murder in that second. I thought he was going to do some jiu jitsu move on him. I really hate that the Celtics have made me so paranoid, but I really hate how I haven't been able to shake the paranoia of them injuring us.

I was happy the refs kept the game under control. I was happy the refs didn't just automatically give Thomas foul calls because he's small and throws his body into other players. When him and Harden don't have the refs on their side, they kind of fall apart.

There was a play in the first half where Olynyk hooked TT's arm and tried to stop him from defending a guy driving to the basket. Might have been Bradley. TT kinda fought back rather than tying to pull away and have the arm yanked. They called the offensive foul that wiped out the basket, thankfully.

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Jeudy is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Tillman is flanked out wide to the right. Judkins and Ford are split in the backfield as Flacco takes the snap ... Here we go."
