... and as a result it turns into agruments, name calling and just drama in general.I have enough drama in my life without having to deal with it on a forum/message board For this reason, I can completely understand. Unfortunately.

Man, I hope the Cavs pull it off tonight. I don't know if I can stand to hear all the "blow it up" and "the moment is too big for Kyrie" crap again.

Yeah, there's no blowing this up. You always look to improve, but I wouldn't be tearing down anything with this roster.
I think we might have to just chalk this up to the Warriors being that good this season. We beat them last year, they added Durrant and now they're playing inspired bball. What can you do?
Come back again next year and see what happens. Lebron ain't leaving this offseason anyway.
Plus, at the end of the day, Lebron and the Cavs won one for Cleveland. They broke the curse and nobody can take that away. Losing this year is a minor speed bump to 2016.

Good post.
I am appreciative for them giving us three straight appearances in the Finals. It's fun to win and I'm not getting all the criticism they are receiving.

I mean at the end of the day, what really can we do? KD is the definition of game changer for that team. And yeah, there's no reason to be tearing it down, we just need to do what they did - add a player or two. Add more pieces to the puzzle where the hole is. Someone(s) there is going to need to take a pay cut in order to keep that GS team together.

Someone(s) there is going to need to take a pay cut in order to keep that GS team together. I think they will. Being able to establish yourself as a dynasty will keep them all in the same uniform. Plus, they'll be playing in San Fran soon, which should make it a bit better than Oakland. Near the same paychecks, new arena, San Fran, winning.....easy.

That'll be tough because I don't see many of our players willing to take a pay cut. I know there are reports already that KD is willing to take a pay cut over there, but can't buy into them fully.
We'll see.

WE DON'T NEED A QB BEFORE WE GET A LINE THAT CAN PROTECT HIM my two cents...

Speaking of pay cuts. We have two players not living in their contracts.
TT, and JR. Straight up no shows right now when we need it most.

My head says that we get swept right out of the finals. I hate to say it but that is the arc we are on right now.
My heart says that we somehow take it to 6 games. I just can't see us getting past that point.
On another note: If this was our starting 5. Do you think we could take down the Warriors?

No possible way that Paul George could be added to the Cavs roster, without trading away Kevin or Kyrie.

Funny, I was just looking for the game and couldn't find it. I thought, but Vers said tonight? Damn, 24 hours from NOW.

Unless multiple switches get flipped, we may win tonight, but I doubt it goes more than 5.
If a few guys start playing up to their full value, then we can push it to 6.
I've known it wasn't likely we'd win the series, and that was before the 1st two games and me actually getting to watch GS.
And people thought the Big 3s in Boston and Miami, and even the Cavs were "unfair" Puh-lease.
Am I the only one that pronounces hyperbole "Hyper-bowl" instead of "hy-per-bo-le"?

I'm pretty nervous about tonight's game. One of those times I wish the Indians had a late night game, so I could tune into that instead.

The most important game of the entire season tonight. If they can't put it all together for this one, then we deserve our fate.

I don't believe in this mantra that the Cavs losing or even being swept means they "suck"
Sometimes. Teams are just better than you. And play better than you.
2015, I believe we were the better team (if healthy) they just played better.
2016, I know they were the better team. We just played better down the stretch.
2017, they are the better team. Easily. And are playing far better than we are.
We still got one though..
So, while it sucks for the players. And the Bandwagon Cavs fans.
I will be fine.

A lot of the sports talk is that the Cavs need to improve their defense. I don't think that 1st line defense is our problem. IMO the reason that GSW is scoring so much is the number of offensive rebounds they are getting.
The other problem is that we are missing open shots. If we can get our open shout percentage up to even just 40% that would be a huge difference. Per Pluto's Scribbles, we are shooting 32% on open shots and 22% on wide open shots.
I think both of these are fixable. The rebounding is hustle related and the shooting is confidence related.

I keep betting on the Warriors this series to hedge against my emotions.
It's a very odd position to be in.

Biggest problem is both teams need to play fast and they are much better at it because everyone can score out of that offense, we don't have that, we have two huge holes in TT and JR, so GS can rotate and smother our other guys. Spacing does no good if you can't hit open shots
