The girls barely even got their robot in time; people were afraid of extremists using the technology, which really isn't that adavanced, to do something bad with it.

Their robot was allowed to compete in the FIRST competition, but it's an absolute shame they can't come due to a bunch of people feeling scared for no reason.

I hope having girls seeking more opportunity, especially from a nation where women lack empowerment, getting barred entry into the US makes you sleep better at night.

What I find funny is that if these people would've just let Trump have his 90 day travel ban in the first place, it would be over by now (or close to it) and these law abiding citizens would have no problem getting in here helping us move that much closer to Skynet.

This country is more open than it has ever been in it's history, do you not know how hard it was to get in here when you had to go through Ellis Island? I dunno about wrong countries to ban, if you're talking about Saudi Arabia, I agree, they should be on there too. Nothing stopping whoever they're funding from traveling from their country.

I agree with the SCOTUS's decision here. Trump has the right as president and the court had to decide on that for now, so they allowed but limited it. So now the stories get made, Trump get's his 90 day's and by they time they have a hearing in September his 90 days will be up. SCOTUS can then simply point to him having plenty of time to review and change procedures, then lift this thing. Trump got to keep his promise to his base, SCOTUS makes this go away, and everybody wins.

So we now find out you are a bigot against Mormons AND a bigot against whites.

I bet that answer is a big, fat, no.

Why? Because you don't know who might come in, and what danger they might present to your family and loved ones.

However some people seem to think that we should have no standards for who we allow into our country.

It just makes no sense to me.

Yes, we should allow immigration to our country. No, we should not allow just anyone in. We need to be able to have some ability to determine who might present a danger to our country, friends, family, and neighbors.

It's not being "mean", or "racist" ..... it's being cautious and careful in a dangerous world.

If he could get past his self created BS, focus only on the middle class (not his lame campaign promises, GOP agenda, Twitter, the next election, etc.), and find middle ground then I would give him very little grief.

We had an immigration system when my grandfather came over from England as a 16 year old orphan. He came over to work on the railroad ... a job few people wanted to do. He worked up to engineer.

He followed the system in place, and obeyed the law. He didn't sneak in when no one was looking, and work under the table.

Back to my post, that you replied to ...... I still lock my doors when I leave my house. I don't let just anyone in. I doubt you do either.

I want a healthy immigration system. It has to have controls, so we know who is coming in, and we can make sure that are paid legally. It makes no sense to let just anyone sneak in, and do whatever they want.
