That wall just got another 10' higher! The one in Trump's fantasy where he is a great President on Mount Rushmore.

j/c Boy Scouts official apologizes for 'political rhetoric' of Trump speech An official with the Boy Scouts of America apologized to the Scouting community on Thursday for the political content of President Donald Trump's speech at the National Scout Jamboree. "I want to extend my sincere apologies to those in our Scouting family who were offended by the political rhetoric that was inserted into the jamboree," said Chief Scout Executive Michael Surbaugh. "That was never our intent." Speaking Monday before about 40,000 Scouts, Trump delivered a speech that would not have been out of place on his campaign or in his tweets. He slammed the "fake news" media, promoted the repeal of the Affordable Care Act, boasted about his election night victory and called out the Washington "cesspool." "Who the hell wants to speak about politics when I'm in front of the Boy Scouts," he said, continuing to speak about politics. Trump also riffed on the Boy Scouts loyalty pledge to criticize those in Washington. "We could really use some more loyalty, I will tell you that," Trump said. The speech represented a marked change from prior presidential speeches to the Boy Scouts, which generally discussed values and service rather than partisan issues. A number of former Scouts criticized the nakedly partisan speech, and CNN contributor and retired Lt. Gen. Mark Hertling said the President "did not provide the proper example" to the crowd of young men. In his letter, Surbaugh said Trump's speech had overshadowed the rest of the jamboree and its focus on Scouting. "These character-building experiences have not diminished in recent days at the jamboree -- Scouts have continued to trade patches, climb rock walls, and share stories about the day's adventures," he said. "But for our Scouting family at home not able to see these real moments of Scouting, we know the past few days have been overshadowed by the remarks offered by the President of the United States." Surbaugh said the invitation to the sitting President to visit the Jamboree is a "longstanding tradition" dating to 1937. "It is in no way an endorsement of any person, party or policies," Surbaugh said. "For years, people have called upon us to take a position on political issues, and we have steadfastly remained nonpartisan and refused to comment on political matters. We sincerely regret that politics were inserted into the Scouting program. "While we live in a challenging time in a country divided along political lines, the focus of Scouting remains the same today as every day," he said. At the press briefing on Thursday, White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said she had not seen the letter yet. She said from her firsthand view the Jamboree was "one of the most energetic crowds" she has seen for Trump. "I was at that event and I saw nothing but roughly 40-45,000 Boy Scouts cheering the President on throughout his remarks," she said. "I think they were pretty excited that he was there and happy to hear him speak to them." http://www.cnn.com/2017/07/27/politics/boy-scouts-trump-apology/index.html

What's this? You are posting Trumps twitter statement and thinking that's proof that what it says is accurate? LOL Anyway, read some of the comments below his meanderings. Nobody but maybe you and perhaps 40 believe this guy.

Step out the way Swish, Perfect and OCD or you'll get run down by that there TRUMP TRAIN! Now I was playing nice and not commenting, but since you felt the need to drag me in: Trump has done nothing significant so he simply can not take credit for any of this, but perhaps a small amount is from his initial bump caused by business excitement. Anyone except a FOOL knows that this is a trend from the Obama Admin that is just continuing. As for no WH Chaos... 6 month Chief of Staff!, 6 month Press Secretary!, 2 month National Security Adviser!, Fail after Fail on Health Care!, No Significant legislative wins!, Oldest Allies feel abandoned!, New Press Secretary displays Potty Mouth in "on the record" phone call!, Republicans getting worried Trump will hurt them in 2018!, President Tweets like a child!, etc. etc. etc. Dear 40, I feel your pain but denial is not a solution. AND if WOOO WOOOO is how Trump really makes you feel, please tell me what you are drinking, meds you are taking, and/or what you are smoking because I want to get me some.

I disagree. Just "being Trump" is good for the stock market, at least for the short term. Business believes, and maybe he will, cut back regulations, give them huge tax cuts and so do many people who invest in the stock market. They believe this will equate to huge increased profits for businesses. As such, it creates a boon in the stock market.
Now most of us understand that trickle down economics doesn't work because people aren't going to hire more people than they have to in order to do the jobs currently being done. We also know that to have a strong economy that low to middle income people must have an expendable income to spend to fuel an economy. Without demand for products there is no need to up the supply.
So whether or not "The Trump Effect" has any staying power is yet to be determined. But at least for the short run, just the fact that Trump was elected will help the stock market.

The wall works in Israel. I wish my family there did not have to live behind it, but for the hatred and evil in the world, at home and abroad. But you are correct, the wall, in that particular setting, for a people continually attacked (as they are in America as well), works.
