I'm good with seeing out the investigation, or any investigation, until it is done. Leaving things out for speculation, especially in this political climate, has created crapstorms everywhere.

Senators move to protect special counsel in Russia probe

-Two members of the Senate Judiciary Committee moved Thursday to protect Special Counsel Robert Mueller from being fired by President Donald Trump.

-Republican Sen. Thom Tillis and Democratic Sen. Chris Coons said they introduced legislation letting any special counsel for the Department of Justice challenge his or her removal in court.

-Trump has been critical of Mueller since his appointment, and the president's legal team is looking into potential conflicts surrounding the team Mueller has hired.

That's what prosecutors do when there isn't any evidence.

Thats what prosecutors do when they need to look into areas of a person or business that they do not have access to without the grand jury.

Watch. Ignore the source of the video if you want - it says CNN. These words were spoken.

Seen it and heard it before.

That's the corporate Trump line. And it does not make any sense. The media didn't create a narrative of Russia hacking the USA election. That's simply a fact that the entire US intelligence community (and US allies) believe. It's not a media narrative that Trump said 'no connection to Russia' - which is not accurate. It's not the media's narrative that SO MANY of Trump's closest team members LIED on their paperwork regarding meetings with Russia. It's not a media narrative that Jr met with Russians who promised dirt on Clinton. It's not a media narrative the Comey insinuated troubling issues regarding Trump and then was fired . . . and then the next day it wasn't the media telling the Russians "I just took a lot of pressure off myself .... by firing Comey" .... that was Trump.

You can SAY what you like. You can repeat all the Trump excuses and the Trump narrative. That's up to you and anyone else that wants to.

I'll choose to pay attention to what is said and what is and was done. I'll also have faith in investigators who are impartial when it comes to the law ... Mueller was UNIVERSALLY celebrated as a top class, impartial investigator after the announcement. . . . When did the narrative start that he's biased??? OHHHH - if you weren't paying attention - that was TRUMP's narrative once Mueller ramped up the investigation and it was apparent this is serious. Since then Trump's narrative has been to discredit the investigation.... which is of course why you are on board with it.

As he should.

And if he (Mueller) doesn't, I would guess some people on here will be upset.

I'd be happy and sad both. To think that the American people were duped by Trump saddens me. I don't like it. To know we have the systems in place that can correct the situation makes me happy.

One thing I'm pretty hopeful for is that if it's proven he's guilty of collusion and obstruction that his supporters will stand up and say enough is enough.

I know that if he's found to be innocent of any and all wrong doing I'll be glad to stand up and say I was wrong.

It's kinda funny, but in a weird sorta way, I hope I am wrong.

I'll be "happy" with whatever the result of the investigation. I won't be upset if there is nothing at the end of the journey.

I am sure there will be some lefties that would be making some noise and upset - but that just goes back to you get some extremists on both sides/all sides and best thing is to try not to pay too much attention to them.

If there is something there at the end of the investigation - not only is it a sad day for the USA and will no doubt hurt the nation .... it might mean Pence becomes POTUS and that guy is someone I have very little faith in. He's certainly no better than Trump in my eyes - different but not better.
