So who is gonna reign in trump?

This isn't a one sided affair here. He's popping off at the mouth just as much as fat boy.

I'm still confused as there where threatening military action against Venezuela came from.

Just remember who was provoking and threatening who.

Trump. got in office and needed to flex some muscles.

North Korea has been doing that for decades. Former presidents tried to talk and negotiate. None of that worked. From W to O, none of it worked.

Now don't get me wrong, I don't like to hear our president spouting off like a petulant child which he does all the time, but something else had to be tried other than playing nice with Fat Boy. Whether that proves to be effective over the long haul is yet to be seen. But in this case, I can't really say that I blame Trump for trying to fight fire with fire.

That's fine bro. As I've said before, my biggest thing is that if trump feels the need to fight fire with fire, that's all good.

But it would be nice if his staff and himself are all on the same page. When Mattis, pence, and others are making statements that run contrary to what trump is saying, it's not sending a strong message to NK that we are all in this together.

I guess it would be nice for the oval to have some unity before going hard in the paint, is what I'm saying.

I agree with that. The story you hear seems to be decided on who it is you wish to listen to in this White House.

I think Trump spouted off but unintentionally drew a red line. Our Military leaders, Tillerson, and leaders in Guam tempered the statements but backed Trump nonetheless. Then China and Russia said they would not have NKs back if they provoked us with an attack.

At that point, Kim Jung Un knew he would lose everything if he launched missiles at Guam or the US. So he backed down.

Trump and the others basically punked him. In my opinion, this proves KJU is not really crazy but just a big mouth nuisance dictator. Him having nukes and capability of hitting us is an issue though, so this is far from over.

Don't forget...he also needed to steer the media away from talking about Russia so, what better way than to threaten war?

America can now relax a bit as President of the United States Donald Trump has handled the North Korean Crisis with Strength, Determination, Teamwork and a Great Plan.

-The President's team, under his guidance, set out on a game plan that has worked to perfection. Nikki Haley got all Nations on board at the UN with a 15-0 vote for Sanctions. Russia and China voting against NK was amazing!

-President Trump's use of strong language and speaking in terms NK uses themselves brought Kim to realize the President was not backing down and was willing to go to war over NK's threats to our Homeland and then to Guam.

-President Trump's tough talk to the Chinese by first asking for their help and then announcing to the World that China has been of no use when it comes to NK. He directly tied our future Trade Negotiations with China's refusal to help with NK. China has now Blinked by coming through with the Sanctions vote in the UN and China has informed NK they will only accept items already being shipped but will buy nothing else from them in the future.

-Secretary Mattis announced to NK if they attack Guam, talking is over and "It is On."

-Kim has now Blinked and is backing off on his attack threats.

The Future...

-I see NK becoming a member of the Nuclear Nations Club as decades of mismanagement by the United States and the World has let the cat out of the bag and there is no putting it back in. NK can already put Nukes on it's medium range missiles and will soon do the same with its ICBM's. They will not be attacked unless they first attack because the costs are too great.

-Bannon has said that in every plan he has seen for eliminating NK's Nuclear capabilities, there is the cost of 10 million lives in the city of Seoul,SK by Conventional Weapons alone.

So.......What that tells us is Bannon has never been interested in seeing a diplomatic solution to the issue. He's a war dog!
