yeah, Shaw was good today
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Jeudy is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Tillman is flanked out wide to the right. Judkins and Ford are split in the backfield as Flacco takes the snap ... Here we go."

We will miss Sale this series, yippee Series? Oh. Yeah, Red Sox make-up game today. So Sale isn't pitching today. Unfortunately, if the Tribe makes the play-offs, we'll see him then. It's OK. Kluber is right there too.

I was traveling this evening, so I didn't get to see any of the game. But, I did keep up with it on score tracker. Anyone watch tonight?
How did Bauer look? I saw he gave up three solo homers, but had 11 strikeouts. Just wondering if he is finally starting to find a groove.
Looks like Encarnacion's power is starting to show over the last few games. We definitely need his bat to help us along.

Yeah, if EE can heat up all the way through November, we'd be good. :-)

I only caught the 6th through maybe the 8th (had to go get my daughter from work).
Bauer definitely looks light years ahead of last year and it sure looks like we can hit on almost anybody.
Heard on the radio as I was driving that Andrew Miller might be back in the line up by Friday.
That's really good news.
WE DON'T NEED A QB BEFORE WE GET A LINE THAT CAN PROTECT HIM my two cents...

Bauer looked good, worked out of some trouble as he normally has had to do.. I'd say he has found his groove as of late. He's been on a roll lately. Great win tonight. EE smashing the ball. The Bruce signing is paying off.

Thank you, Milk Man!! I'm going to be traveling the next couple of days so I'll be lucky to catch some highlights. It's always nice to get an honest answer from those that either watched it live or in person.
Go Tribe!!!

Exactly, Santana wasn't doing much backing him up. It's hard to pitch around EE with Bruce right behind him in the lineup.

Bruce has been a great pickup, WTF happened to Zimmer though, he's turned into Naquinn at the plate

WTF happened to Zimmer though, he's turned into Naquinn at the plate That is kind of expected in a players rookie year. MLB pitchers will find your weakness. You then need to adjust. It happened to Ramirez after his rookie year and he had to be sent down to AAA to fis the holes. It happened to Lindor at the beginning of this season ans he adjusted. Last year Naquin couldn't adjust at the big league level. Let's hope that Bradley adjust sooner rather than later. Difference between Bradley and Naquin is that even if he isn't hitting, Bradley is pretty awesome in the field whereas Naquin is just solid - not bad but definitely nothing special.

Have to deal with the the growing pains. I suspect you'll see Chisenhall paying CF when he is healthy and Zimmer playing sparingly as the season winds down.

Man, Bruce has been a great add for the Tribe! Carlos crushes one for another 2 runs for the good guys!

See, this is one of the main reasons the Tribe is so competive this year. Tonight the Twins have to start a pitcher with an ERA over 6.00. The Tribe: Carlos Carrasco IP - 138 2/3 W-L - 11-5 ERA - 3.83 SO - 152 BB - 38 WHIP - 1.13

Zimmer has been horrific at the plate.
For a long time.
Poor kid.
I hope he gets his head right.

I saw that Gomes and Santana were hit. Who else got hit? Unless you were assuming Guyer was HBP ... he actually singled.

Nice win for the Tribe today in game 1. I was so impressed with Shaw getting into trouble, winding up having given up a run, with a man on 3rd ..... and he and then Olson got out ofg it without that run scoring. Then the Tribe cam e into the top of the 8th, and turned a 3-2 lead into a 7-3 lead. Bruce with another 2 RBI today. Man, what a great pick up he's been thus far. Zimmer is going through what Naquin did last year, with having to adjust to how people started pitching him. I think that Zimmer can make the adjustments that will allow him to be successful though. Let's go Tribe! Sweep the double header!
