After watching MIA/BAL and TB/JAX, I feel better about our performance last week. Sloppy, turnover and flag fests. Throw in some drops for good measure.

Hopefully we do a better job of cleaning things up than these teams did.

Hmmmmm...........I have been thinking that TB is going to be one of the better teams this year. What are you watching?

Blake Bortles is so bad. Marrone said the competition is now open

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Jeudy is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Tillman is flanked out wide to the right. Judkins and Ford are split in the backfield as Flacco takes the snap ... Here we go."

But, I will say that TB's offense should be very good. Lots of weapons. Winston is also now experienced

Other than two bad decisions Winston looked really really good ... hes poised and accurate and goes through his reads ...

He played really well last year ... his only problem was the bad decisions .. if he cuts down on those ... he can move into the top tier ..

Chad Henne - QB - Jaguars

Chad Henne completed 6-of-10 passes for 44 yards in the Jaguars' second preseason game Thursday night.

Henne didn't do anything on the field to distinguish himself, but it's important to note that the Jaguars left their first-team offensive line and receivers in the game when Henne entered late in the first half, and left them in with Henne fairly deep into the second half. The decision to do so suggests the Jaguars are at least considering the possibility they'll have to turn to Henne as a better option than struggling Blake Bortles.

I'd be shocked if Henne isn't the starter in week 1

20 accepted penalties, 5 fumbles, and 2 INTs in the Ravens/Dolphins game. Most of them when the "ones" were still playing. Mainly the Jags in the other game. They had -2 yards on 5 carries at one point, and Bortles looked bad. Then Henne came in and they had bad drops. TB definitely has weapons and looked pretty good overall, but Winston did have that one Weeden-esque throw that he got bailed out on.

Just watched what to me is the relevant part of the rats/fish game ...

Most stunning thing to me ... and IMO injuries have RUINED the NFL .. but the fact the Rats have all ready lost 9 guys to season ending injuries is extreme even for the NFL ..

There OL's been DESTROYED ... even when Flacco comes back .. there going to be a very very bad offensive football team ...

it couldn't happen to a better team .. ..!

I wonder if we could get a 2018 2nd rounder from them for Erving?

Just watched the Jill's/Iggles game ...

Never been a Taylor fan ... not sure what to think of this one ... can't decide if he was just bad or horrible ... not good choices .. *L* ..

I felt sorry for him ... he was under siege on most plays ... got hit twice while throwing and had one of his picks tipped by a blitzer ...

He threw 2 picks ... the one that was tipped by the blitzer .. not sure how much of it was his fault ... it was a db blitzing from the corner ... he saw him .. threw it .. he should have seen the blitzer ... like i said .. no clue how much of that i would put on him ..

Problem is he should have thrown two more ... both for pick 6's .. they were just dropped ...

U talk about being put in bad positions ... seemed like there were holdings on every other play ... his down and distances were worse than BO's last week ...

That was UGLY ....

Wentz was ... meh ... there two best plays were nullified due to holding ...

Looking forward to the Bears, Texans and Chefs games ...

What is it u see in Wentz u don't like? ...

And I'm not looking for a debate/fight here ... i think he can be pretty good ... we'll see ... I'll never bash the FO for not taking him ... they obviously wanted to build through the draft ... last year that as just talk ... i think its become obvious now ... and Wentz was no Luck or Manning coming out ... so regardless of how he turns out ... i get it and am 100% OK with it ...

I'm just curious as to what u don't like about him ...

I just think his process is slow. He is going to be great when he has time to sit and diagnose whats infront of him but when there is a hint of pressure his eyes come down. that may improve with time but when he has to make a quick decision, I see inaccuracy or indecision.

I don't if he'll be good, but it's cool to see someone with an injury that devastating (and that bad of timing) work their way back on the field.

Agreed. Did anyone notice how Myles Jack looked the other night?

Very happy for Jaylon ... GREAT PERSON ... my best contact was there for his freshman and sophomore years ... he was a great kid according to everyone .. everyone loved him ... kind, courtesou, respectful, bright, hard working ... he checked off all the positive adjectives ...

I'm very very happy for him ...

He was quick as hell and man ... he was always jacked .. but he added some weight and even more muscle ... u could see he worked his ass off on his upper and lower body .. hes still very rusty ... over ran two plays ...

I hope he can stay healthy ... even at 90% (thats what they say his nerve is now) he could be a special player ..

For those saying they don't know if he will be good ... he will be good .. question is .. how good ... thumbsup

Goff looked pretty good tonight. I'll be interested to see him with a coach who has a clue and some real players at the skill positions.

I was talking about Rob Boras, the Rams offensive coordinator last year (although Fisher is also terrible).

When compared to me and you, Boras has a clue. When compared to Sean McVay, Boras does not have a clue.

I'll accept your apology in advance so that you don't have to waste a post.

By the time he left the field, his offense had 3 total yards. 20 yards rushing, -17 passing.

He is a god awful QB and it is a travesty he is even on an NFL roster. Makes it even worse that he was taken in the 2nd round.

you had a good run Hank.

Add another notch in the positives column for the FO.

McCaffrey's talents were very visible to anyone who watched him play. He is a stud.

Max McCaffrey (the eldest brother) is trying to make the Packers (he went to Duke). Dylan McCaffrey, the third brother, just committed to Michigan. Luke McCaffrey, the youngest, is starting his sophomore year in high school and has been offered several scholarships.
