For instance, some fat guys might really, really want to loose weight. They don't want to be fat. But can't do it. Even when a set of directions is given to them to follow. And I would say playing in the major leagues requires more self-discipline than maintaining your ideal weight.

My guess is that they went with Allen because he is an elite level defensive outfielder. He is also very good on the base paths. From what I read, I have never actually seen him play.
Is buttcheeks one word?
Or should I spread them apart?

Francona has very patiently been developing this catcher for the Indians. Francisco Mejia  Mejia had a 50-game hitting streak last year. Francona called him up yesterday to spend the rest of the season with the Tribe. A little more seasoning for next year.

On Saturday, Salazar threw a 23-pitch simulated game at Double-A Akron. Manager Terry Francona said Salazar won't "go too long" in his first start off the DL, so it remains to be seen if he will go deep enough to qualify for a win. He should stick in the rotation for the rest of the season if he can remain healthy, which has proven difficult this season. Can you imagine if Salazar finishes the season healthy? Just for some perspective, we are 8 games ahead of the Twins, If the season ended today, the Twins would be the 2nd wild card team. Twins in the play-offs would be the biggest "Cinderella story" in a very long time. (they lost 103 games last year)
