We could. It might not happen that fast.

We won't activate 4 qbs for the game, and when you get down to it, exactly how critical is that last roster spot? They aren't activated on game day.

If everybody had like minds, we would never learn.

#Browns waived: WR Rashard Higgins, DB Darius Hillary, DL Tyrone Holmes and DB Kai Nacua and terminated the contract of DB Marcus Burley

Ok we made room for the 5 we signed off waivers.
We were carrying an excess of DBs as was stated I too hope Nacua makes the Practice Squad.

John Greco - G - Saints

Saints signed OG John Greco, formerly of the Browns.

32-year-old Greco was part of the Browns' final cuts after Cleveland added interior talent in free agency. The former third-round pick has made 111 career appearances, including 70 starts. Greco has experience at guard, center, and right tackle. The Saints just lost RT Zach Strief (knee) to I.R.

The Cleveland Browns have activated WR Corey Coleman from injured reserve to the 53-man roster.* To make room on the roster, the team waived WR Kasen Williams. The club also waived DB Ibraheim Campbell from injured reserve and RB Terrence Magee was signed from the practice squad to Atlanta’s active roster.

Coleman started the first two games this season and recorded six receptions for 62 yards and a touchdown. The 2016 first-round pick has appeared in 12 career games and has totaled 39 receptions for 475 yards and four touchdowns. He sustained a fracture in his hand during the fourth quarter at Baltimore on Sept. 17 and was placed on injured reserve on Sept. 19. He was designated to return on Nov. 6.

Williams appeared in seven games and totaled nine receptions for 84 yards. He joined the club via waivers from Seattle on Sept. 3.
*Each team can designate two players to return from injured reserve.

Designation does not need to be made until that player is able to return to practice. A player placed on injured reserve is eligible to return to practice in six weeks and must miss a minimum of eight weeks.

His problem is quickness/speed IMO ... he can’t create separation because he has none ...

That’s the only thing i can think of ... Seattle cut him and they have no other receivers like him ... they have a bunch of smurfs ...

Thats a shame cause he has great hands ...

If the kid can learn to block well he could become an asset and I don't think we use him correctly in the Red Zone as in I don't think we use him at all...lol

But he has made a living on the Comeback route on the outside..as you stated he has NO SPEED so when he goes deep on a 9 the CB or DB is on top of him making the Comeback route Gold. I'm thinking all but maybe one of his catches were on a comeback route.

Now my point with blocking is.
1. You get a guy who blocks and we have that Tight Bunch formation he becomes an asset.

2. He would become an excellent target in that formation on a play action Seam Route.

God forbid we keep a WR on the roster who can catch. Sparq scores are much more important that catching the ball.

just for the record in case you don't know we did sign him as soon as we could to our Practice squad...so he is still with us.

Everyone I think likes Grateful Dead as a poster...he puts up good information and never torches anyone.

Kasen Williams probably has more catch upside than Louis .. but he lacks the speed IMO to ever be more than a 4/5 WR

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

This is where I've seen Hollywood making progress in last couple games v Minn. and Det. He has been making some nice blocks downfield.

The #Browns have informed WR Kenny Britt that he’s being waived. He’ll hit the wire and be a very intriguing pickup

Only on the job for less than 24 hours and a great move already by Dorsey!

Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

I think this was a Hue move. I do like that the GM is actually listening to his HC about roster decisions. So glad Sashi is gone.

NO we recalled that Safety that was on the practice squad who looked good in training camp!

Peppers is hurt right now I think we will rest him till he is 100% so the need is there now we have a 2nd rookie Nacua the kid from BYU..but the kid #39 (Currie???) who seems to be bigger and some here like him as a talent. Hopefully he gets the start and we get to see what we got...preseason is nothing to make decisions on.
