Why didn't FSU take a time out on 4th down before the Alabama punt?

I was wondering about that, too. Especially since the clock stops on first downs in the collegiate game.

This game feels like a December 31st playoff game. Very few sports can accomplish that feet in the first week of the season.

That is a career day. It did come vs an FCS opponent that the Missouri defense really struggled against.

Yeah, it was against a bad team. But man, those numbers are unreal.

Not a good day for Texas teams. Longhorns lost to Maryland and Baylor just lost to Liberty.

Injury to FSU QB does not look good. I really hate seeing that. These are 2 real good teams but without their starting QB FSU may take a huge step back.

BYU is playing a bunch of dudes in their mid-twenties and they look like kids compared to LSU's freshmen.

So Howard was a 45 point underdog at UNLV and won.

OSU plays UNLV in two weeks.

This is another great story from this weekend in college football. I remember watching college gameday when he was 12 and featured back when Carroll was the head coach. Simply awesome for this to play out 8 years later in this kids life. Good for USC!

Great day yesterday

Michigan looked really impressive... Especially on defense...

Really overall great day for the big ten.... Maryland with a big win and overall great game

Bama looks for real but FSU helped them out with sloppy play especially on special teams...

Gonna be a great year of football.. Still have several good games today and tomorrow

two good games tonight: TX AM at UCLA and WVU vs VTECH

Unfortunately they're both starting at 7:30 (why would they do that??) ... make one at 4 and one at 8

I don't know how I feel about UMs offense.

Seems to be either a run or a deep pass. Not much in between.

Two Freshman WRs got skills tho.

OL is good.

Defense is Faaaast.

Got 3 "should wins" before MSU to get things situated. Not sure how good Cincy is honestly. And it'll be their first game vs UMs second.

I think my problem with the offense yesterday, is that they can't seem to decide on what type of team they wanna be.

First off. OKorn is ok. And it's great you wanna get him some playing time. But please stop swapping them in and out.

Secondly. It just seems like one moment they are a pro style I Formation offense. Then the next it's a Spread. It just seemed weird to me. I dunno.
