Great night of football. From 7:30 to 11:30 I was constantly flipping back and forth from OU vs OSU, Clemson vs Auburn, Stanford vs USC, and Georgia vs ND.

Huge win for Oklahoma. They dominated OSU in much the same fashion OSU did them last year. What really bodes well for Oklahoma is that win on the road last year got OSU in the playoffs without winning their Conference Championship.

Interesting fact about the OU/OSU series history. They have now faced each other 4 times in history. They are tied 2 -2 all time with the road team winning all 4 games.

USC looks like a real contender this season. Great QB, very good running game, and the defense looked strong vs a very good team. I am looking forward to their match up with Texas next week. Kinda seems like a trap game. After Texas loss last week the narrative is Texas is still a bad football team. USC was sky high tonight against Stanford since they have lost 4 straight games to the Cardinal. Texas will be looking at this game as a chance to get the bad taste of the Maryland game out of their mouth.

Clemson's defense looked impressive in win vs Auburn tonight. Clemson has Louisville next week. Looks like a great match up. Should be game of the week next week. The defending National Champions vs the reigning Heisman Trophy Winner.

Georgia went on the road a beat Notre Dame in tonights best game. Looks like a good win in week 2. Let's see just how much ND has improved

It turns out Falk had a concussion. This seems like something the announcers should have discussed.

The Pac-12 has a pretty great group of college QBs in Darnold, Rosen, Browning, and Falk.

Sam Darnold has the look of a NFL quarterback.

He made about 6 or so throws in a row that blew me away.

He is going to be really good.

OK state's QB has looked good at Pitt

How is Michigan only up 3 points on Air Force (9-6)? Also, Air Force hasn't gained a single passing yard up to halftime! Weird.

it's up to 10 now ... but AF is strictly option and trickery. Michigan hasn't capitalized in the red zone

Yeah, I know they run a heavy run option offense, but I'm surprised they not only had 0 passing yards, but they also had 0 pass attempts at half. I'd figure they'd at least try a few play-action passes out of those options.

Lead back to 3 though. I'd figure Buckeye fans want Michigan to destroy Air Force, it'll look better later in the year if you can beat them.

Did you just see that play in the Louisville Clemson game where in Muse was ejected.

I think that is the textbook occurance of where the defender, even though he hit helmut to helmut should not have been ejected.

Seriously, as that play, (even in slo mo) ends up, the defender, is headed toward the play, lowers his body, (as one would if to avoid a head to head shot) and momentum continuing him sideline wise,
as contact is made, in that last quarter second, to half second, the ballcarier also lowered his body, partly contorting, so that helmut to helmut occurred.

Actually Live> I thought surely the defender shoulderd into the back (behind the shoulder bone) area of the ballcarrier.

Nothing the Safety could do there.

A textbook occurance of where I'd say the penalty could or should be enforced, 15 yards, but the ejection shouldn't.

But that's not "how" the rules are, "currently" so they had to do it.

But everybody should see that play, that's what I've been hearing from broadcasters and such, since the beginning of the rule, that sometimes, there just isn't any way to avoid it.

Down 28-7 in the 2nd, Toledo storms back to win it 54-51! Toledo even returned a 2-pt attempt back to steal points from Tulsa. Great game!

My cousin plays for UT, Cody Thompson. I like to think he'll be drafted. I'd have 2 cousins in NFL then. Proud of them

From what I can tell, that pass to end the Fla-Tenn game was 65yds in the air and hit the receiver in stride.

Man!! Texas gave them everything they could handle. That freshman QB put up a really gutsy performance. I have never liked USC going back as long as I can remember. I was definitely rooting for Texas and I was bummed that USC was able to pull it of. But, Tom Herman has that program moving in the right direction. It was worth not getting to bed until 1:00 AM last night. It was a very entertaining game.

Yeah, Texas showed fight that they maybe wouldn't have last year (or years prior)

I think Clemson/Dabo Swinney has reached the same level as Alabama/Nick Saban and Ohio State/Urban Meyer. Losing their QB, #1 WR, top RB, and few defensive players I thought they may slip back some. After their performance last night in the win over Louisville they looked like the #1 team in the country fully prepared to defend their National Title. Reloaded and looking like they have not missed a beat kinda like Bama and OSU with Saban and Meyer.

By the way I could not have enjoyed the beat down of transfer U/Louisville any more than I did last night. Well maybe enjoyed 11/26/2016 a bit more.

Watched the USC Texas game to watch Darnold.

Darnold is really impressive. He makes mistakes like bad footwork in getting into a throwing position.

However, man does he have arm talent. I am not just talking about a speed ball. He can be extremely accurate from all kinds of platforms. Like Aaron Rodgers.

In addition when you watch closely you can see Darnold has a great feel for the game. He "sees" the field. He throws guys open. He is in command.

I have seen very few college quarterbacks with his kind of presence on the field. Andrew Luck was like that.

I will continue to try and watch his games because I am a fan of the position. And enjoy watching guys coming up with his kind of potential.

The draft is a long time away. But I will say this no matter what Kizer does. If Darnold was there when we drafted it would be really hard to say: "nay we can't use that guy".

The Panthers took Jimmy Clausen in the second round and then took Cam Newton first overall the next year. I'm not saying, I'm just saying.

Hey Bonefish - I like Darnold too but I have a feeling that he does not come out this year. No insider information, just some stuff I heard on the radio.

My buddies daughter is a sophomore at Georgetown. Her good friend from HS goes to UCLA and she says that Rosen is the biggest ass. I didn't ask for details but now wishing that I had.

The guy I like that I would love for you to look at and give me your feedback is Mason Rudoph Oklahoma State.

2 other guys who peaked my interest recently are:

Nick Fitzgerald Mississippi St and Riley Ferguson Memphis.
I'd love to get your feedback on these guys as well.

The rumors around LA say that Darnold is staying.

Rosen is definitely a bit of a fool, alls it takes is a Google search to found out why.

I liked what I saw of Ferguson this past weekend, but I was flipping channels between games.

I watched Rudolph last year because he was putting up big numbers. However, after watching two games, I stopped due his terrible accuracy. He was overthrowing way too many guys. Was wide on many others.

I haven't watched him this year, but once again, he is putting up huge numbers. I'll take another look. He does have excellent size and a big arm.
