Apparently Trump is liking the positive coverage and fast action he has achieved by dealing with Dems and making liberal moves with policy. He has been touting his deal with "Chuck and Nancy", he tweeted to the dreamers not to worry during the 6 months, "No Action" will be taken against them...
We all know Trump loves being popular and getting positive coverage. He's repeatedly bashed GOP leaders and cabinet members for failings on implementing his agenda, and now has a rapid successful legislation passed that is painting him in very favorable light...
Trump has zero issue with bucking the GOP, and with this new 'good' feeling, he may begin to look to Dems and Libs for guidance and bipartisan governance! Since his top two closest advisors, daughter Ivanka and husband Jared Kushner are both democrats, this is or could be very bad news for the far right and hard line GOP conservatives that hoped the president would be working with them.
GOP leaders cowtail and fall in line for Trump, so a swing to the center/left on policy is probably in Trump's best interest for at least short term legislative success and helping his dismal approval rating.
Guess I have to get more popcorn...

It is an excellent plan in the eyes of those who want secure borders and a wall to keep illegals from returning. Except for one minor issue, the wall that he's talking about, won't do a damn thing to stop immigrants from coming in. NOT ONE DAMN THING....Total waste of money and rather stupid. Add some border patrol personnel, add some equipment like planes, copters, night vision. Those things would do more than a wall. It's idiotic.

It is amazing how fast things can get done in the Swamp these days!
Like Health Care? Tax Reform? Building a Wall? lol Making sure the lights stay on and putting a good face on the Government with disaster relief is hardly "amazing" Swamp activity! Give it a rest already. Now that Trump has shaken the cage, the Swamp went from handshake to passed Bill in 24 hours on this one! House passes $15 billion storm relief package, debt-ceiling increase and government funding-The House overwhelmingly backs the Senate's version of a bill raising the nation's borrowing limit for three months, funding the government and providing $15.3 billion in aid for victims of Hurricane Harvey. -The final count was 316 to 90, with all negative votes cast by Republicans. -More than 130 Republicans voted in favor. https://www.cnbc.com/2017/09/08/house-ha...nt-funding.htmlThank you President Trump for lighting a fire under the Swamp to get them moving again! This is a President who just threw a fastball up and under the chin of the Republican leadership! -CNBC
