I have seen very few label our posters on this board that way, very few. And even then, it's less than a hand full of posters that get labeled in such a way.

And I do agree with you that it still doesn't make it right. But then again, when looking at it objectively, that's a two way street. It works in both direction when it comes to labeling a stereotyping on this board.

Every time he spoke off the cuff, his passion and conviction was obvious. When he read that 'official' Monday statement, he was wooden, robotic- and insincere (or at least thoroughly unconvincing).

Antifa apocalypse? Anarchist group's plan to overthrow Trump 'regime' starts Saturday

A series of anti-government, leftist rallies set to descend on major cities nationwide Saturday is drawing the attention of local officials, who, like the organizers themselves, fear the events could be hijacked by violent masked anarchists.

The left-wing "Refuse Fascism" group is using Nov. 4 as its kickoff for demonstrations in nearly two dozen U.S. cities, protests it says will continue "day after day and night after night - not stopping - until our DEMAND is met."

The "DEMAND" is the removal of President Trump and Vice President Pence.

Among the 20 cities where rallies are set to occur are Atlanta, Austin, Boston, Chicago, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Honolulu, Los Angeles, Minneapolis, New York City, Philadelphia, San Francisco and Seattle.

Tapping into movements like Occupy Wall Street and the Women’s March, Refuse Fascism said it hopes to protest non-stop, 24/7 “until this regime is driven from power.”

Yes, do not believe the fake news about Antifa not sparking a civil war on a specified date. This is absolutely not the delusion of gullible geriatric FOX viewers. Trust me, I am an Antifa supersoldier myself. Here are some of our planned actvities today to spark the Civil War:

-painting tunnels on the sides of mountains to trick Trump voters into driving into them

-dropping pianos on the Trump voters, so that when they open their mouths, their teeth are piano keys

-handing jack-in-the-boxes to Trump voters, but there's a boxing glove on a spring that punches them when they turn the crank

-wearing colorful flowers on our lapels to entice Trump voters to smell them, but when they do, they get squirted in the face with water

I'd mock 40 for being gullible enough to believe this, but it's not half as bad as getting duped into believing a trust fund wimp stopped a mugging because a teenager on Reddit told him so.

I think the funniest part here is that FOX is too lazy to even try and tie the "Refuse Facism" group to the myth of a structured Antifa. They probably just shrugged and said "they'll pee their pants over it, anyway". Hell, Alex Jones worked harder to make the connection.

Lol, I'm impressed. I've noticed that Snopes gets used a lot on this board as a source of proof. I'm just pointing out the type of fact checkers they have in their employment that we are expected to believe in.

As for the rally scheduled today, I have no idea about the plans.

Snopes was originally a husband and wife operation and then at some point they hired some people from the snopes.com message board. They are normally pretty accurate but there are exceptions-- it's not like it's a team full of detectives and investigative journalists.

Once again, the group who are holding protests are not Antifa. Antifa is not a structured organization. It's a term that has existed since the second World War. It's mostly a group of anarchist kids who show up when white supremacists and neo-Nazis march. They punch dolts and vandalize bank property, mostly.

This started because of an insane chain e-mail. It began to gain traction when an irony humor Twitter account named Krang T Nelson claimed that on November 4 "Antifa supersoldiers" were going to "behead white parents and small business owners". Publications like Gateway Pundit, that cater to frightening extremely gullible people who are too stupid to know better, ran with it. It got picked up by InfoWars, and took off from there.

There was a piece on VICE a few days ago mocking all the people duped into believing a group would announce the date of their violent revolution, and discussed the origins of the chain e-mail and Krang's obvious joke that a bunch of dolts were credulous enough to believe.



I mean, seriously...how are you all THIS easy to dupe?

I don't think you need Snopes to realize that a group with no structure announcing the date they are planning a mass revolution in advance, with claims of "beheading white parents and small business owners" is an obvious joke meant to rile up the extremely gullible.
