Does Kevin Hogan have a magic elixer to make his WRers catch the ball? Otherwise, I see no reason to bench Kizer for Hogan.
you had a good run Hank.

No...Only way is if we are like 0-8 at the break and the ORDER comes from upstairs to start somebody else and give up on the 2017 Kizer experiment.

Since forever the favorite player on this team has been the back up QB. Until he becomes the starter...
Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

He's losing us games and not improving IMO. Yeah, our D giving up 31 points to a team that scored 13 and 9 points in the first two weeks and our secondary looking asleep at the wheel had nothing to do with it. We put up 28 points. For real. Why isn't Jamar Taylor being horrible when covering T.Y. Hilton getting more play? Or us not getting any pressure despite blitzing? Or letting Jacoby Brissett gash us with easy passes? Probably because a lot of posters: --want to blame Hue for everything. --want to believe Williams is awesome. --no one on defense is a problem. --want us to believe the FO is awesome.

Hoyer is better than kizer. Do we need a 1-15 season to evaluate kizer?

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

Got to be kidding me Not to be picky...but I think "better" is not the right description.
More "efficient" at this stage as would be many reliable back up type QBs including the one we released (McCown)

A qb who moves the offense IS the better QB. Period.
Hogan moves the offense so he is > than the offense with Kizer in it. Period.

ooking at the last couple of games, maybe it should have been Deshaun Watson.

Deshaun Watson is the third rookie with four passing touchdowns and one rushing touchdown in a game in NFL history. The others are Charlie Conerly (1948) and Hall-of-Famer Fran Tarkenton (1961).
Wasn't good enough for Clowns...
Neither was Wentz or Carr...
Beginning to agree with Vers on FO...

Beginning to agree with Vers on FO... I really wanted Carr, I didn’t like Kizer at ND and still don’t think he is an NFL QB

I wasn’t sure on Watson vs Garrett, but I know I wanted no part of Kizer before the 5th

Kizer should have stayed at ND another year. Who knows if that would have helped. His accuracy and decision making was questioned there also.

Every time Hogan comes in, people seem to catch the ball and we gain ground.
Start him. Why not?? It's about moving the chains and putting points on the board. No?

I said it before the season started that Hogan was the best QB on the team. Every chance he gets, he does the most he can with the opportunity. He's basically a rookie too, but he saw enough last year for it to start to click for him. He's far from perfect, lacking in some areas but a lot more fun to watch and the team is more competitive with him at the helm than when Kizer is in.

After a day to reflect I would keep Kizer in and let him learn from his mistakes, he is the one the Organization and Hue think can be our Franchise QB, we need to find out now not next year ... JMHO

Not confrontational PM. But I keep reading this and it bugs me. When will you know? What will be different and what will have changed. Flip it over: When will you, coaches, fans, etc. say nope, not the Man. Do I need to see the same bad process play out all season like these first four & getting worse by the week with little change much less progress. More of the uncorrected for the season junk from DK and others can't be needed to decide. We were sure in a hurry on JFF; Kessler's door got slammed; Brock got himself gone quickly. This just strikes me as ludicrous, and Hue is not controlling this well at all.
Just infuriating as a fan. I didn't expect a contender, but I also did not envision this bad play either. Check the trend thus far. Our defense is getting silly.
Wide ocean of difference in betwixt playing to win and playing not to lose. We are trying to win with the latter. Be ashamed you could do better and choose not to. If you can't find it, find someone who can. At least fail in a new direction in new ways.

If you can't find it, find someone who can. At least fail in a new direction in new ways. The play is really bad because of the bad coaching. Every team is 2 steps ahead of this regime. We will get nowhere with Hue. Remember also that we passed on Watson!!!We get to see him in 2 weeks...LOL

It would be nice to see what Hogan can do with more reps. Everybody and their momma knows he moves the ball much better than Kizer. Lets see what he's got!!!

His limitations are fairly evident. I'm pretty sure the coaching staff is aware of what he's got, or doesn't have as the case may be.

We seem to know plenty when we throw them off the field or out of Berea. But if you are the flavor of the day, we need to see more, the results be damned. Kessler might have won one or two. I see Kizer as Kessler 2.
Go, Browns. Seems like Hue is going with his gut.

Kizer will only get better if we hire an experienced OC. The play calling for the deer-in-the-headlights rookie is absolutely horrible!!!
