Not triggered at all by you. Even though you wish that to be true.

You might want to re-read the thread. Have a good one.

Sorry to pivot this narrative, but I just can't help it.

I'm 61 years old.
I have a dear friend who's in his mid/late 40's.
I also have a dear friend who's in his late 20's/early 30's.

And these two young punx are no different than the 60 year-old azzholez I've been saddled with since my days as a child of the 60's/70's:

1. Can't get TF along. Can't talk. Can't find Common Ground.
2. Can't understand each other without an interpreter, even though English is their 'common language.'
3. Can't even drag themselves to a place where 'open talk' is even a possibility.

Yaknow, I gots 40+ years of experience with this kinda crap. I'm so totally over it. I've finally determined that it's not my job to make you jerks see each other as the friends you've both become to me. It would be great to "share a brew with the 2 of you"...

...but I can't trust either one of you to uphold your end of the bargain.

So the entire thing sucks for me.

I got Brothers whom I Love... who treat each other in ways I cannot tolerate/condone.

What am I to do with the two of you?

Don't even bother to suggest a potential solution... I no longer trust either of you for a suitable (potential) solution. I'll figure you both out for myself, as time ticks on.

Carry on, as you will.

My .02 cents....We get the leaders we deserve.

You do realize that for people to "get humor", you actually have to be funny, right?

Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

We have, turns out Portland and I have more in common with regard to special needs than meets the eye.

Wanted to smack him around this morning, now I wanna give him a firm handshake, a heart felt thank you for his (and his family's service) to the special needs community and a quick guy hug.

Hats off to you my friend.

See, you are supposed to work it out AND smack him around. That's what we do in here.

Arch, I have zero problem with hunters that hunt for food. I despise sport hunters and killing animals for no reason.

On the other hand, I can't stand somebody that condemns hunters (for food) while buying meat from the grocery store because factory farming is the most disgusting animal abuse I've ever seen. Even if we are raising animals to slaughter for food, they should be raised in a humane way and treated with at least some dignity as a living creature.
