Has Gordon even applied for reinstatement? Not yet. The theory is that because he's not currently in football shape, he decided to forego his reinstatement until he was ready. Josh returning too soon would just place a distraction on the team and pressure on the Browns: If he doesn't play, any offensive struggles will be questioned was he wasn't playing. If he does play, it will be questioned if he doesn't perform. If he's rushed back too soon, he won't perform. Etc. The general idea is not re-applying just yet will help him control his own return. It will help his reinstatement, too, as remaining sober while no longer being in treatment will reflect positively on his ability to cope in his day-to-day life.

In short, the real answer is "we don't know". We don't know if Gordon has filed for reinstatement, or if he plans to file for reinstatement this year. It seems like these things are kept pretty hush-hush (until they're leaked, of course). As for when he'll apply... I don't understand how waiting helps Gordon all that much. Sure, he's probably out of shape... but he's probably not going to get into true game shape until after he gets back into the Browns facility. He's gotta take his lumps getting back into the NFL game and getting through Hue's playbook. IMO, it makes more sense to get back into the facility and work on knocking the rust off there with actual NFL QBs and coaches. Waiting until he's 100% ready probably won't translate into a good enough performance to give him contract leverage and allow him to accrue a season.

I'd definitely like TY Hilton
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Jeudy is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Tillman is flanked out wide to the right. Judkins and Ford are split in the backfield as Flacco takes the snap ... Here we go."

Reference; Devildawg “Both were to Louis, who is our only receiver who has much ability to run an effective slant.”
The first play Higgins played this year was a slant for a big gain .... wasn’t it?

Dolphins traded RB Jay Ajayi to Eagles for a fourth-round pick, per source.

We haven't talked about it, but Seattle made a huge move in getting Duane Brown. Their OL was pathetic. Brown should help.

Yep. And that Houston Seattle game was the perfect tryout game. Brown dominated against a good Seattle line. Seattle definitely got better, and that’s huge for Wilson.

No doubt about it about both trades.
Wentz has to be thrilled.
Wilson has to be even happier.
Watson probably not so much.

Yes sir ... its official ...
Jay Ajayi - RB - Eagles
Eagles acquired Jay Ajayi from the Dolphins in exchange for a fourth-round pick. While this looks shocking on the surface, coach Adam Gase took a shot at Ajayi following the team's loss to the Ravens last Thursday night and had clearly soured on the back. Now in Philly, Ajayi should take over as the lead back ahead of LeGarrette Blount and will get to run behind a solid offensive line for the first time in his career. Even likely to share work, this is a great move for Ajayi's fantasy value.

Martavis Bryant - WR - Steelers
ESPN's Jeremy Fowler reports Martavis Bryant has been told he is part of the Steelers' Week 10 game plan.
Pittsburgh is on bye this week, but Bryant will apparently be integrated back into the offense following the break. If true, it all but confirms Bryant will not be traded before today's deadline. Even so, JuJu Smith-Schuster has played too well to be demoted at this point. He should serve as the No. 2 receiver the rest of the way.
