what if the browns suck in parallel universes? Hmm, maybe our real winning team was sucked to the other universe and we got stuck with this garbage?

I have defended this front office and coach a lot. I don't even like or want A.J. McCarron. This is incompetence. This is a fireable offense. I mean, they were all getting fired anyway, but here's another nail in the coffin. Just pitiful.

I think about all the crap I have taken from the many expert members of this message, for being the first and most outspoken on this front office.
Do understand this, I have never asked for anyone to be fired because I still believe it is an easy fix by just adding a GM football guy to oversee, control of the 53 and have input into the process.
Can the analytics types work with football people?

Sad thing is, I think we have a decent coach if he was given time and talent to grow into the position and I think we have a pretty good DC... but there really is no defending this FO...

I mean, they were all getting fired anyway, but here's another nail in the coffin. Just pitiful. Agreed. This whole thing wreaks. If anyone thinks McCarron is the answer to any QB question, that's incompetent. The fact that they didn't call in the trade in time, that's incompetent. The fact that they've been blowing smoke up Kizer's butt since they draft him, then undercut him by trading for another QB (but not actually trading for him), is incompetent. It seems like this attempted trade is a reaction to not getting Garoppolo. If that's the case, they are panicking. Incompetence. So dumb. All of them.

Bruce Drennan just reported we were trading a 2nd and 3rd for McCarran ... Crazy If that is true. . . That does not seem something like our front office would do. Maybe they are trying to appease the coach? Maybe they missed the deadline on purpose? Anything is possible with this trainwreck. Link: https://www.cincinnati.com/story/sports/...rron/819064001/

Cleveland Browns miss chance to land Cincinnati Bengals quarterback AJ McCarron Jim Owczarski, jowczarski@enquirer.com Published 5:22 p.m. ET Oct. 31, 2017 | Updated 5:44 p.m. ET Oct. 31, 2017 The Enquirer confirmed an ESPN report that the Cincinnati Bengals and Cleveland Browns discussed a trade for backup quarterback AJ McCarron.
The Bengals had previously required a first-round pick for McCarron, but the price had moved. A league source with knowledge of the talks indicated the Browns were willing to move second and third-round picks in 2018 for the backup.
The Enquirer confirmed from two league sources that the Browns ultimately did not send the paperwork to the league office.
Multiple league sources told The Enquirer there was a disconnect in Cleveland between the personnel department and the coaching staff about McCarron, which has hindered talks between the two franchises about the quarterback dating back to the spring.
A league source confirmed the Browns did try to appeal to the league to get the deal done, and ESPN reported the league rejected that appeal. Article

I am not at all upset that we missed on adding McCarron. Bleh. I hate that we were even considering him.

Not ONE person stopped celebrating to say, "Hey, we better call this in"! Away with them.
