Garrapolo, Hilton, and Benjamin would have been nice.
A 2nd round pick for each.
And you still retain your 2 firsts.
Our FO is so inept.
LOL - The Rish will be upset with this news as well. KS just doesn't prioritize winning...

I'd prefer Benjamin to Hilton even.

Hilton was traded? Or his price tag was a 2nd rounder?

Benjamin's price was a 3rd and a 7th, Hilton has been shopped but not traded.

The only rational explanation for the dereliction of duty of this FO's attempt to improve this roster is that they have been stripped of their power by Haslam and are no longer able to make moves.
A 3rd and a 7th? Good grief.

Could be. If a new regime is near you'd want them to have all the assets at hand when/if they arrive.

We're not a piece away. Benjamin to Buffalo is a win-now move. Where is he on his contract? Nearing the end right? 5th year option is next season, I think. Doubt he'd willingly re-sign with us and I don't think he's a guy you franchise.

No, it's not. Benjamin is a young WR that has had ups and downs in his career. I don't know where he is in his current contract, but he's not going to break the bank regardless.
He's a big, fairly good WR that will probably improve just about any WR group he goes to.

He's owed $1.5 this year and that balloons to $8 million next year... This is the image I have in my head of Sashi while other GMs are talking football.

Now in his contract year he’s in shape and having a good year ... Buffalo is going to regret this ... I’d of been peed off we made this trade ....

Meh. Benjamin is a big dude who sometimes knows how to play receiver.
Any time a team trades a player from a position that they need help at, red flags go up

Now in his contract year he’s in shape and having a good year ... That's weird because if you extrapolate his stats out, they will be almost identical to last year and 2014 in his rookie year... And he's on pace to have twice as many yards as our best WR...

While I agree that Kelvin Benjamin would be by far our best receiver, that doesn't mean we should trade for him. We are going to be horrible either way and he's a free agent. Save the draft picks for the next people that get to be the deciders.

If u paid attention you’d of known he was in the doghouse pretty much the entire last 2 years .... why ... being out of shape and having his work ethic questioned ... What do u think .. i just make this crap up ... Go ahead and rely on them stats though ... cause they tell the whole story ...

His qb stunk the first three or 4 games of the year ... he was rusty ... and it showed and he STUNK .. since then he’s been a yo yo ... last 2 games ... not good at all ...
Its one of the reasons that Benji beingin shape and acting like he wants to be there does not have better stats ..

Ps .. he doesn’t have very good hands either ... but i’m Sure u can find a stat that tells u “thats wierd” ...
Buffalo’s going to regret this one ... they gave up a 3rd and a 7th for a one year rental ....
We’ll see if they take this mistake a step further and sign him long term ...
He’s a taller/slower Sammy Watkins ...

I am 100% convinced that we draft a QB with our #1 overall pick next year.

No way.

I was simply speculating/wishing/dreaming how the Browns might look right now if they had traded for Garoppolo and Benjamin.
That would have certainly been preferable to the circus we are witnessing now in Berea.
Bro, we are being laughed at and ridiculed nationally.......Again!
I don't think the nation would be laughing had we acquired JG and KB.

No way. I don't think you can quantify that either way, as the fact is JG just hasn't played enough to make that determination yet. he could be, he couldn't not be. We will find out once he starts and gets extended time.

I’m with u on JG bro ..
If we signed Benji .. I’D BE PEED OFF ...
He’s the definition of ... CONTRACT YEAR WARRIOR ...
U and I called Kenny Britt ... so did some others ...
Only difference between Benji and Britt is a few years a few inches a few pounds and one knee surgery ..
I actually think Benji’s hands are worse than Britts .. and Britts are pretty bad ...

I just mentioned it because he was traded and the scenario I suggested sure sounds better than what we are hearing about the Browns right now.
I can't believe that this is happening again.

I hear u bro ...
Someone said last week .. it can’t get any worse .. i jokingly warned him ...
I forgot who is running this ship and the BS STRUCTURE he put in place ...
This is right there with Farmer texting and the debacle of Banner ...
Sorry man .. i’m About to vent AGAIN ..
This guy is the WORST OWNER IN THE HISTORY OF SPORTS UP TO TODAY ...
When i think rationally its not near as bad as it seems .. im not talking about right now obviously .. *L* ..
We got some talent and its young ... we got a ton of assets to improve between the cap and draft picks ...
Its not near as bad medium - long term as it is now .. if the JACKASS OWNER hires the right people we could be a really good football team in 2 - 3 years .... hell, this year we could have 2 or 3 wins if our qb’s weren’t TO machines ...
These bafoons are gonna leave the next FO in a hell of a lot better shape than any since our return ..
I actually want to do a thread about where we are ... the mood of the board ain’t quite there yet .. *L* ...
I feel sorry for Hue ... no clue if he will be a good HC or not ... and he has his warts ... but he is a victim in this ... and then he left the thief no choice with the tweet storm by who appears to be his daughter ...
