I can't think of a more literal trial by public opinion than a first past the post election.

If I was hiring for a position at my company and Roy Moore was a candidate, and I did a background check and 8 allegations were thrown at him, I'd immediately remove him from consideration. If he was a really good candidate I'd be a bit upset, but I'd do it all the same. Is that fair? It's business, business doesn't exist to be fair. The risk to my company reputation, and the risk to my own reputation is far too risky in the infinitesimal chance that eight women are all lying about their interactions with Roy Moore. Is voting for Roy Moore any different than someone saying they would hire Roy Moore for their business? I don't think there is.

Cracks me up that Al Franken has one woman come out and say he harassed her and the board's GOP types are all over him. He admitted his wrong doing and apologized immediately and then a second time. He was wrong and will probably pay a price.

Moore has now been accused by 8 women, denies it all and continues to attack the victims; yet I see very little of the 'right' outrage on this. Curious.

It was which is why I couldn't resist it. lmao The difference is I didn't say it. You rearranged things to make it look like it was a quote from me.

Some people think when they post. Some just post to rile things up without really thinking. I was just pointing that out. Problem being, when it comes to 40 you know that's true.

Alabama Governor Plans To Vote For Roy Moore Despite Sexual Assault Accusations

https://www.yahoo.com/news/alabama-governor-plans-vote-roy-231657789.html

look at this part:

“I believe in the Republican Party, what we stand for, and, most important, we need to have a Republican in the United States Senate to vote on things like the Supreme Court justices, other appointments the Senate has to confirm and make major decisions,” she said. “So that’s what I plan to do, vote for Republican nominee Roy Moore.”

__________

party over pedophilia!!! the true conservative way.

Sorry but it seems the Judge is denying everything while Frankenstein has admitted everything, therefore your boy is guilty and the Judge is still presumed innocent until such time as there is an investigation into the validity of the accusations.

If elected, he will face the same ethics hearings as your boy Frankenstein. The truth will eventually be known and justice served.

Like I said, finger pointing and guilt by accusation still carries weight there, but not here in Murica.

If you prefer to pick another country that lacks laws and justice you can feel free to move to it. Zim has just been in the News lately.

Dem candidate faces resignation calls after boasting of 'hayloft' romp, sex with 50 women

Ohio Democratic gubernatorial candidate Bill O’Neill is facing calls from his rivals to resign from the state Supreme Court after he boasted, unprovoked, in a viral Facebook post this week that he’s had sexual relationships with at least 50 women in his life.

“Sexual harassment, degrading and devaluing women is not a joke,” tweeted Democratic candidate, Nan Whaley. “Justice O’Neill should resign.”

I think he should resign. HIs job title is JUDGE. Meaning you need GOOD JUDGEMENT to occupy that office.

Whatever he did is none of my business, but in showing POOR JUDGEMENT by airing his 'laundry' like that, I don't think he should be a judge.

Why would somebody do that?

I mean make a facebook post like that?

The only thing I can think of is that he has a serious drinking problem.

That he got very drunk.

The most damning evidence I can find against Judge Moore is the fact when ALL of these alleged crimes occurred he was a Democrat.

He became a Republican in 1992.

I am now suspicious.

He had asked for an independent inquiry to clear his name.

———

Gilady denied the rape accusations, said he didn't recall one of the other allegations, but acknowledged a claim he'd propositioned a woman during a job interview 25 years ago was "mainly correct." He stepped down as president of an Israeli broadcasting company he founded. The IOC has said it is looking into the allegations.

— Former South African soccer association president Danny Jordaan — Accused by former member of parliament Jennifer Ferguson of raping her in 1993. Jordaan denies the accusation.

Looks like Alabama is pretty lawless, they let pedophiles roam the streets and run for office. Your version of Murica seems pretty lawless too. It's ok to kill blacks, ban Muslims, be bigots against Mexicans, wage war on the environment and science, force women to do what y'all want them to do with their bodies, collude with enemies, and run pedos and pervs for office! Sounds pretty damn lawless if you ask me.

it's cool to support pedophiles because at least they stand for the national anthem and worship god.

The biggest change Obama brought was that he made old white bigots so desperate to reclaim Murica that they decided Con Men, Rapist, Womanizers, Bigots, Nazis, and Pedos were better than a black president or a Dem controlled congress.

They are selling their souls for a few more years of relevance...

I've kept my comments to a minimum in this thread mainly because of things like this.

I've read every post in this thread and no where did I read that anyone supported pedophilia.

All I read was people wanting to wait for more evidence (as should be the case) and question the timing of the allegations.

The only mistake anyone made was commenting as much as they did before more evidence came to light.
