Wonder if Memphis is going to blow it up? If so I’d take Evans or chalmers and cut rose

Yep and the intensity picked up. That’s why I think it’s important he comes out every night that way

what a way to end the half!!

Lebron with the fadeaway buzzer beater.

JR and Korver are perfect from 3 this half.

Solid half, slowly but surely the Cavs are looking scary. And we still have 30ppg sitting on the bench

So is Love. The whole team is.

Second unit is really, really good.

I rarely bet on the Cavs and took them to cover -8 in the first half. Was never concerned about it because I knew the second unit had been so good.

Cavs have had a cupcake schedule lately. Want to see them play some good comp.

I'd like to see them run a play or two for Cedi also. He looks nervous out there. Needs to see the ball go in the hoop. Build up some confidence.

Looks like bench is going to have to come in to get that separation again. Starters just going through the motions

If Love were just 30% more athletic he might be a top 5 player in the league.

Two things I currently think:

Wade accepting his role is a key for the Cavs championship hopes. So far so good. He can't play starter's minutes anymore but he's the best bench player in the league because he still has starter's skills.

JR is an underrated passer.

Bonus point: JR looks engaged again.

I will say Love's consistency has been better the last couple of weeks. His 3 had been flat and now looks like he can't miss.

Our bench is the biggest reason for our streak and it starts with wade

Seriously lebron, this stanky leg needs to stop. Why have shooters if you’re just going to take bad shots

Looks like rose is returning to the team today. Kinda meh for me, I've already moved on from him. He's drastically got to change his game, become a distributor and be able to make plays for other guys. He can't be that attack guard he used to be..It'll benefit he and the team if he can do that.

How does that conversation happen though? Meaning, they knew he was a slashing go-to-the-basket guard when they signed him. How does the GM and coach then demand a completely different approach to the game?

It makes logical sense to us armchair QBs, but to the palyers, I'd bet they resist. "This is who I am, it's who I've always been."

Haven't been able to watch live the last few games, but I am glad the guys are playing better.

And man, Lebron looks rejuvenated. I mean it's not like he ever looks bad with the numbers he puts up, but you can sense that there is a little more motivation right now.

I actually think its an easy conversation to have with rose. He's already come to terms with it I think as his departure shows. He knows the way he plays attributed to consistent injuries. So you say if you want to prolong your career, find another way to contribute and use your talent. Alot of guys have changed who they are to be more effective or to fit in. Love is a good example. Rose is still fast and explosive, he can still get to the rim but now instead of looking for that contact and trying to finish he can use that to create shots for others. If he works on his mid-range jumper he can add that and stop taking so much contact.

I don't say that as an armchair, i think anyone that has played sports and still like to play it even as you get older have to evolve. I used to be able to dunk and slash and take people off dribble. That was a big part of my game, now I've taught myself how to play inside out. I can post and rebound and shoot the 3. You adapt to such a way that it allows you to keep playing and contributing. I think Rose is smart enough to see that. His mvp year he was so dominant and he's had a bad string of injuries, thats got to be hard. But I think if he adjusts theres still a place for him. If he doesn't, well I think that will sort itself out when IT comes back.

I don't think Rose needs to change his game. Once IT returns, Rose will be w/the second unit and his attacking style on O and gritty D will be welcome additions to that unit.
