Wow, just checked on the league and what do I see? 1 undefeated (that's you Hoop) and 2 teams at 7-2 way to go Navy and me Glad to see that my measly 88 points held up under MNF. Good Luck this week everyone!

S_N_G are looking to get a win to find themselves fighting for a wildcard spot in the playoffs and make a run to the championship. Although i don't see anyone beating the team with Brady and Peterson. That's just too tough to compete with.

i'm curious to see if NE continues to be so pass-oriented all season...i wonder if they start to lean on the run after building their leads as the weather gets cold...

I forgot that NE had a bye. Either way, your team will be tough to beat the rest of the year and the playoffs.

I passed out the Central Division Champions hats and T's last nigfht. I hope my boys don't get tired just going through the motions the last two games of the season. The other two divisions are still wide open plus 1 wild card.

HUGE matchup in the East Division in week 13!!!
(8-4) S_N_G (thats me) vs. (9-3) Atomics Dawgs.
With a win Atomic will clinch the division leaving me with only wild card hopes. In order for me to win the division I need to win out and probably need 2 Atomic losses (I'm not sure how the tie break would go if I win this week, lose next week while Atomic wins in week 14.)
Last Matchup:
Week 2- Atomics won 153-89
However I must point out that Atomics started C. Palmer, Housh, and Rudi in the browns-bengals shootout of week 2.

Justin Fargas RB Oakland was a nice find for me in FA getting 20 pts filling in for Peterson. Peterson will get limited time this week so I'll start Fargas again.

If i have to settle for a wild card (if i get in the playoffs, its a very tight race) i will have to play you and I'm not looking forward to that, unless Peterson stays hurt and Brady has days like vs. PHI

well, my only shot requires you to lose both of the last 2, ATZINGER... i just cannot believe how poorly a team with my talent scores... LT averaging around 12/week, Steve Smith around 4/week...NE won't hand Maroney the ball...Andre Johnson has played like 3 weeks this year...Brees and Hasselbeck takes turns playing poorly, according to whom i start... UGH...

Wow I already won this week and Brady & Moss hasn't played yet. Another nice week for Fargas 20+ pts. Guess I'll pair him up with Peterson the rest of the year and bench McGahee

Actually the wildcard will go to either me (S_N_G) or Atomics. No other team can reach 9 wins except for US Navy Dawg who would win that division.

The playoffs are pretty much set now.
The West Division is still potentially up for grabs but US Navy Dawg would have to lose and either the Columbus Panthers or Blade Runners would have to score unbelieveably high while Navy scores really low. Columbus has the edge over Blade for the outside chance of winning the division, but it's likely to be Navy's Division.
The Central Division has been set for awhile, Burnt Orange is the division winner.
The East Division is still up for grabs. S_N_G leads the division through a tie-break (more points scored) but Atomics Dawgs still have a chance. Atomics would need either an S_N_G loss (with an Atomics win) or A big win and finish with more points than S_N_G.
The Wildcard team in the playoffs will be either S_N_G or Atomics depending on the East Division outcome.
Big Muffnut Daddy and Delray85 have been eliminated from Wild Card contention this past week because they cannot win their division or reach the 9 win mark to tie with either S_N_G or Atomics. Both teams are sitting at 7-6. BMD will miss the playoffs even though they were 2nd in scoring.
As it Stands:
WEST: US Navy Dawg CENTRAL: Burnt Orange EAST: S_N_G WILD CARD: Atomics.
Playoff Matchups:
Burnt Orange vs. Atomics S_N_G vs. US Navy Dawg
If Atomics win the East Division:
Burnt Orange vs. S_N_G Atomics vs. US Navy Dawg

i meant the 2nd east team...typo...
2nd in points, 2nd in breakdown, but can't buy a win...

Yeah, I noticed that you were the 2nd highest scoring team and are out of the playoffs. That's gotta suck, but I never thought I'd make it in. I was 3-4 and have won 6 straight since. I'm lookin to attempt to make it 7 this week, and hopefully 9 at the end of the year (that would mean I won the league)

Unfortunately, the "Road to the Superbowl" goes thru Burnt Orange.

Taking Brady with the 11th pick in the first round paid off. Only one other QB was taken in round 1 and that was Peyton by The Bigshots.
Thanks so far to those who didn't preset their auto draft.
To those that play Yahoo and ESPN how do you like NFL.com?

I probably won't be going back to Yahell Fantasy next year. I like this alot better, has more bells and whistles to help you get prepared for each weeks games.
Like you said Hoop, thanks to all those wonderful folks that didn't preset for the draft.....left some of us the good stuff to make a great team.

I didn't preset my team and with a win this week I will be the 2 seed, and if I lose I'm still the 4 seed. I would have liked this league better if we would have had a live draft tho JMO.

Actually I have already clinched. I AM the WEST Division winner and most probably the 3rd seed.
From the NFL.com's tie breaking rules:
Quote:
If there is a tie for a division lead, the following tie-breakers will be used.
Division Record; and if there is still a tie, Year To Date ("YTD") Points Scored; and if there is still a tie Random Draw between the tied participants
If there is a tie for a Wildcard spot, the following tie-breakers will be used:
YTD Points Scored; and if there is still a tie Points Against; and if there is still a tie, Random Draw between the tied participants

Yeah that stuff is really cool except for the part where nfl.com makes you draft 2 kickers, 2 t.e.'s and 2 defenses, and yahoo dosen't. Sorry, but I'd rather pay for draft freedom than be restricted because I'm cheap.

Only during an automated draft. During a live draft you don't have those restrictions.
