Kizer...just another typical rookie mistake. Nothing that isn't expected of a 21 year old rookie. Rookies are going to make throws like that.
Man if we draft a 1st rd Qb next year, gosh he throws an INT folks will be ready to cut the kid....heaven forbid a rookie isn't an average NFL starter year one we should just give up on them(insert sarcasm)
Qb is the hardest postion to translate from college to pros, NONE of the QB coming out next year will be ready to start day one, and if they do start they are going suffer similar growing pains Kizer has...will Browns fans have patience? or ruin another QB?
Kizer was a 3 years project(would start being good year 3) which is right around the timeline of having the rest of the roster fleshed out. What you see of Kizer is why i wanted to keep Vet Osweiler or McCown and let Kizer learn his 1st year. Sadly that didn't happen. There is a lot of talent with Kizer, to give up on him after his rookie year would be a shame...a team that red shirts him for the next year to 18 months will end up having themselves a pretty good QB
Drew Brees, Jared Goff, Troy Aikman, Peyton Manning, were all atrocious as rookies....man good thing those teams didn't give up on those guys after one year like the Browns do with their rookies...no wonder we are terrible and have been for so long...
