That's a pretty poor showing ... Kizer was pretty bad
I'm so tired of the red zone turnovers
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Jeudy is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Tillman is flanked out wide to the right. Judkins and Ford are split in the backfield as Flacco takes the snap ... Here we go."

Kizer defenders are too busy puting a bag over their head this week. Won't hear a peep out of them.
The draft can't get here soon enough.

One thought: “Embarrassing”
I know people are saying we’re short on talent but not this short. Every year the good teams make best use of low draft picks, role players, smart coaching, cheating, ref manipulation and dirty hits.
Enough being bullied already. Win the game. No more excuses starting next year.

The only good thing about this game was the fun people at the bar.
Even that wasn't enough. I left early.

The call to throw the ball from the end zone should be the final nail in the coffin for Hue. Even if you have to punt from the 7 yard line after gaining 5 yards on three runs, it's a better call. He called passes 2:1 over runs. He calls a pass play from the 6, with a QB who has turned it over in the end zone repeatedly. I just don't get how he remains as the play caller.

what's the line at Chicago next week? I can't see us winning. Maybe I'll try to make a little money

Could anybody provide some in-depth analysis of the game or is it just going to be the usual?
Who played well for us? Were there key turning points, why didn't cro get more carries, was our O overwhelm by their d.... et cetera.... That'd be good for those who didn't see it.

On to the actual game....
Another week. Another loss.
- The team came out and looked flat until the D stepped up and made the goal line stance.
- Kizer was atrocious today. More ridiculous mistakes. He panics.
- Corey Coleman had 1 catch on only 3 targets
- Gordon was not effective today
- The Browns had zero yards of offense after the 1st quarter
- Crow had a 59 yard run, carried the ball on the very next play and didn't touch the ball again on the next four possessions.
- Our RBs ran the ball only 12 times
- Sammie Coates caught the ball, jumped up and signaled first down after being stopped a yard short.
- Hats off to the defense on stopping the Ravens on the goal line. Brantley and Burgess made plays. Kirksey made a stop in coverage.
- The Browns defense has gone another game without forcing a turnover. They had forced at least one turnover in every game up until the Cincy game
- The blitzing remains ineffective.
- Watson beat the Browns over the wide open middle of the field for a TD.
- QBs continue to have success passing on 3rd down against the Browns D
- We were leading in this game for a very brief moment
- Final home game of the year and the stadium was nearly empty.
- It was fan appreciation day at the stadium today.
Two more still go. This has been another long season.

Thank you for those images doesn't he thank you for those images I think that's probably the very best thing about the whole season

Crowell carried the ball 5 times. Geez.
At DT, context and meaning are a scarecrow kicking at moving goalposts.

I know people are saying we’re short on talent but not this short. Yes we are, it's a result of constantly trading out of picks higher in the draft and hoping to catch lightning in a bottle in the middle rounds. It's simply not going to happen. The answer is simple, elite talent is found in the upper rounds of the draft that we constantly want to trade away. It's not about quantity but quality, hopefully the new guy gets that, which I think he does. I actually have hope now that we rid ourselves of that idiot Sashi and hopefully the moneyball guy is next to go.

It's 2 hours after the game and only 15 post-game comments. Clearly no one cares anymore.

Had Funchess and Nelson starting on my fantasy team today, who were equally as disappointing as the Browns. Bad day.

But, I won't make comment for a day. Gameday late finds me under influence and mad.

It's putting that talent, however limited it may be, in the right system to be successful. Hue has failed in this. For all of the fans opinions on the lack of talent at WR, and the inaccuracy of Kizer, seems we should be running a wishbone, not chucking the ball 39 times a game.

The Cleveland Browns completely suck and it is because of one man: Jimmy Haslam. Until he figures out that he CANNOT be involved in anything resembling day to day operations, the Browns won't amount to anything. Hire a president and get the hell out of the way already. Dumbass.

I said that they have enough talent to win a game if the head coach put them in the position to do it, via calling a game that matches whatever strengths they might have.

Crowell had 2 carries after his long run, and one of those was the play immediately after. A guy runs 50+ yards on a play, is winded, and the play caller gives him the ball on the next play? Then, he gets it just once the rest of the game? Just one example of how Hue Jackson doesn't help this team.
Kizer waited too long to deliver the ball too many times today. I saw very little anticipation. I think this goes to what some have said about post snap reads. He's reading too slowly, and by the time he recognizes, the receiver has been open for 2-3 steps and is now covered.
There may be people who have more talent than you, but there's no excuse for anyone to work harder than you do. -Derek Jeter

it is incredible how quickly we abandon the run ... even down 1 score

The guy is a lying, stealing scumbag. He won't be getting any of my money any time soon...if ever. This team completely sucks and honestly the people who continue to donate should have their heads examined.

I can't even read through the posts because they got ridiculous. I will give my post-game thoughts, but they probably won't generate any football conversations other than "fire the coaches."
--Peppers is even worse than I thought he would be. He has zero instincts/ability to read plays. He is a terrible tackler in space. He is late on almost every play. He needs to be moved closer to the LOS and be a situational player.
--Burgess is a good football player. He made a lot of plays today. He will start for someone in this league.
--Kizer is inaccurate. He locks onto receivers. He does not go through his progressions often enough. He makes dumb ass decisions.
--Kizer does show some moxie. He is a good runner. He does have a good arm.
--I was mad at Hue for not giving Crow more carries. He is a much better runner than Duke. I like Duke a lot, but he is a change of pace dude. He dances too much. Crow is a one-cut runner who has very good vision. I defend Hue all the time due to the stupid criticism he receives, but not giving Crow the ball more was a mistake.
--Our time management at the end of the first half was very good.
--We have a dumb team. I blame Sashi. He drafted Sparq guys and not football players. Guys like Njoku are great athletes but play dumb.
--Kirksey has really developed into a fine player. He isn't very physical and it costs him sometimes, but he makes a lot of plays and he plays w/heart. I used to say he was a Special Team's guy and I was right at the time, but he has truly developed into a very good player and I want to point that out since I used to criticize him at times.
--Taylor was on the bench at times today and Jordan was in for him.
--S. Coleman w/yet another holding call.
--We do some good things, but our inexperience rears its ugly head time and time again. We move the ball......we look good......then we make a dumb ass inexperienced mistake. It's frustrating and it one of the main reasons our plan was ignorant. This isn't Madden. It's real, y'all.

Kizer is responsible for 25 of the teams 32 turnovers. Simply mind numbing.

Forgot about S. Coleman ... he has weekly penalties (holds mostly) .. and Drango got torched a few times today

We've been seeing a lot more Jordan lately over Taylor.
and we all know why. Taylor sucks.

I'll start making football comments when this team starts playing some. I'm not holding my breath.
Literally the only thing this franchise is good for is comic relief (see the photos above) and the weekly soap opera to see who is getting cut/benched/fired/re-instated/drafted/released etc.

Interesting factoid: the Browns are #9 in the NFL for pass attempts per games.
