How can a man that has Billions of $$$$$ be so bad at making business decisions I don't get it???

Like him or not, that isn't true. The company went from a string of gas stations...no small feat, in to the travel centers we see today. This was Jimmys charge.

Just saying....keep it balanced.

I don't know that he has made bad business decisions. I don't think most owners know much about football. As much as you or I in most cases. I think there is a lot of luck involved. Art Rooney Sr. had bad football teams for decades until he hired Noll.

Haslam might be like Rooney, or he might be like a lot of other owners who never did much. Time will tell.

He's not bad a making business decisions. His bank accounts are still growing. How much are the Browns worth and how much revenue do they generate for Haslam? The guy is making millions of dollars a day. He has been very successful in business.

The problem is that hasn't translated well to building a winning team. It's more than just making good business decisions. Something Haslam hasn't learned yet.

It is a business decision. He doesnt want to pay Hue 15 mil not to coach plus another 20 mil to the next guy. We are a 100 mil in cap space. Free money he isnt going to spend.

This team can afford to lose fans like me. The league money gets spread around. Jimmy is being Jimmy, he is spray painting dog turds yellow and selling golden nuggets.

This team wont win 3 games next year, Hue will destroy another rookie QB with his desperation to win games. Steelers fans will buy those empty seats. Jimmy will be smiling all the way to the bank.

I know with the NFL's TV revenue he will make millions but where is his Pride?

Is a lying scumbag thief...nothing more...nothing less. He continues to spew these empty apologies in the hopes that desperate Browns fans will continue to donate their hard earned money to his bank account while he continues to field garbage on Sundays.

He is rich and could care less about the Browns. And when people stop wasting their money on the Browns, it might get his attention. I doubt it though. He is the definition of an incompetent business professional when it comes to the management of the Browns. He literally doesn't know what he doesn't know. That makes him very dangerous (as has been witnessed during his ownership).

GM and coach won't matter as long as they report directly to someone who doesn't understand NFL football. Until Haslam understands this very basic business principle, the Browns will continue to be the laughing stock of the league.

If Browns fans are lucky, he will cash out and go steal someone else's money and soon. The fans deserve better. This buffoon does NOT have any credible answers. I wish he would go away.

Somebody tell Jimmy Haslem, I'm pretty sure, NO, I'm Dang Sure Hue Jackson could coach any, Any, Any of the teams in the playoffs this year, and they'd win 3 games or less next year; that's why he needs to go, and bring Anybody else in, it would be a step in the right direction, as long as Hue is gone.

But the problem is, if Hue Stays! It doesn't matter who they bring in, he will spread his losing ways around.
But winning doesn't apparently matter.

A quick glance at the NFL history shows the coach is the #1, #2, and #3 factor in a teams wins per season.

Schottenheimer won divisions in 3 places, Cleveland, Washington, and Kansas City.

Bellichic won 3 different places, The Giants, The Browns, The Patriots

Parcells won with the Giants, Patriots, and Jets.

Mike Shanahan, Jon Gruden, their stories. The evidence is everywhere.

If you have a winning coach the winning follows him.
If you have a bad coach you have a losing record, and you have the losingest coach since sliced bread

I'm not a fan of Haslam, but you guys are just posting stupid crap now. The man has paid as many as three coaches at one time in order to try to hire a winning HC and FO. Two fired coaches and the one who was on the payroll.

Now you claim he is just keeping Hue because he doesn't want to pay him for not coaching to fulfill the contract? History proves you are dead wrong.

Now I understand that to date he hasn't gotten it right. That's a legitimate complaint. But to pretend that he has been too cheap to pay multiple coaches at the same time to try to get it right is an outright lie.
