How does "entitled white boys" fit in to what you're trying to say?

being a Browns fan is getting harder and harder...smdh....effin disgusting.

Sports are supposed to be fun. There is not much fun in an 0-16 season. People might as well have some fun with being bad if they can.

That's different from every draft, every FA period and every Sunday in the fall HOW exactly?

There's a solution to this. Be a competent NFL franchise and win some freaking games. It's really that easy.

Until then - they get what they deserve. Mockery included.

QFT.

I didn't go to the parade (wish I had) but making a 4 hour drive in the single digits wasn't going to happen.

That being said - I've had more fun following this parade than I have a single Browns game in...I dunno...5 years?

They did it again on the halftime show on nbc i believe, mike florio was talking about the draft, specifically the quarterbacks and when one of the announcers asked him what he thought the browns might do, he hesitated, smirked, and said, It's the Browns, whatever they do will be wrong." Sorry, but that's piling on and unprofessional to say that in front of a national TV audience and I'm sick of it.

Kirksey, Shelton and Ogbah have all spoken out on Twitter due to the parade.

Quote:

That parade is a joke don’t call yourself a true browns fan if you go to that thing! Going 0-16 was embarrassing enough as a player. That is like adding fuel to the fire and it is completely wrong!

Quote:
@Kirksey

Parade? Smh really? I’m still rocking with the city and will continue to work my butt off to bring what the city what it deserves, but a parade?....Just keep putting in work, I mean they crucified Jesus and he rose in 3 days and shocked the world.....Browns for life!

Don’t kick us when we’re down. Lift us up. When we win don’t praise us because I will remember when yal laughed us.

Can’t wait for things to start rolling the right way for the Browns. Funny how these “fans” will be the ones that say “I am a die hard Browns fan” but fans don’t disrespect their home team. I know we still have some faithful fans out there, things will get better!

There are players on this team who want to play and win for the Browns and The Land. Parading around isn’t encouraging a change, it’s more so encouraging players to avoid the opportunity to play here. 1-31 isn’t what we want to be known for but we won’t stop fighting to win here.

As one would imagine, all three have had some pretty disgusting things said to them on twitter from the "true Browns fans" who supported and attended the disgusting parade.

Yea. Don't think that other teams won't mention that stupid parade to free agents when they are considering our team and that other team. Today was a shameful day in Cleveland.

If they didn't want a parade, then they should've won a game or 2. We just hit rock bottom, do they expect fans to not be frustrated?

If there was no parade, then they would mention 0-16. Getting FA to come here is going to be tough. The guys we drafted in the past 2 years will likely look for greener pastures once their contract is up. Sashi screwed up this organization and it will take years to clean up this mess.

I can't blame players for not liking the parade. They are literally killing themselves playing football for the entertainment of others.

With that said, I also can't blame fans for wanting to make light of a horrible situation.

I don't agree with this.

Haslam hired Brown to be a voice of reason and to foster communication and help people get along. He was labeled as someone who could bring people together. This was due to the backstabbing and infighting that Pettine and Farmer engaged in.

Haslam didn't hire Sashi to go 1-31. And I can pretty much guarantee that Sashi and Depo sold Haslam on this youth movement never believing it would be as bad as it was. A couple of 4-12 seasons, maybe, not 1-31.

Saying Haslam hired Sashi to do exactly what he did is a false narrative.

Jimmy hired him to turn us into the worst team in the history of the nfl? I doubt that.

The players are being way too sensitive. If they didn't want a parade they should have won some games.

The plan was, quite obviously, to "tank." No team should win zero games. That's basically impossible to do. Sashi Brown didn't account for having a buffoon as head coach that would get him fired.

(Passing on QBs also got Sashi Brown fired along with the McCarron fiasco.)

guess what? when we throw a parade for the players losing.

all of our best players are going to leave when their contracts are up. no rookies will want to come here. no FA's will want to come here....*clap* *clap* now what a fine hole we just dug our selves because we are stupid enough to celebrate when they lose...

good job...well done.

That's Ogbah, Shelton and Kirksey. Does anyone really need to be reminded that those are three of our best players? Did anyone notice how much the defense declined when Ogbah got injured? How consistently Kirksey makes plays? How insanely good our interior DL was?

Do we have to get to the point where guys are requesting trades before we perhaps pump the brakes? Rock bottom is meaningless in the modern era. A deeper hole can always be dug.

I'm not real happy that our idiot fans just thrashed three of our best players on social media. Their efforts shouldn't go unnoticed. They're part of the solution, not the problem. Their talent is obvious, and they're speaking out like the leaders they are.

I understand fan frustration because I am a frustrated fan, but that doesn't mean I support moronic, attention seeking, self-serving, pocket lining "protests" that only further the perception that this team is a laughing stock because some low IQ individuals wanted their little gathering to brag on social media that they're soooo doing something about the problem.

This is the time when we should be doing what little we can do as fans. Building our players up, letting them know we believe in them and show our team in the best light possible.

Instead? We've got Joe Haden talking about how grateful he is to avoid a "lame" parade.

Quote:
"It is what it is," Haden said. "I feel like if you want to be that miserable and go have an 0-16 parade, then have fun.

I just think it's lame. I think they went 0-16, the organization and everybody is not happy with it. I feel like the fans, they're not going to be happy about celebrating an 0-16 parade. I just think it's really lame."

Fun. That's something I want impending free agents seeing! Oh, but go sign a veteran QB, a starting receiver, a starting corner, and plenty of depth.

And that was all over national television. The lame parade by lame fake-fans who front like they're making a positive impact, when in reality, they're only making it worse.

There's alot of dramatics in the last several posts.

The parade will have zero impact on FA or current players wanting to stay.

1-31 might. The parade won't.

Again QFT.

Deciding factors FA consider when signing:
1) Money
2) Money
3) Money
4) Relationship with coaches
5) Relationship with players
6) Winning franchise
...
438) Fans
...
932) Fans who throw parades for 0-16 seasons

There is literally nothing this parade did or will do to discourage any player from coming here or resigning here any more than having buffoons in the FO, on the coaching staff and figuring out ways to finish dead last for two decades straight.

Yeah, give a guy a few million more, he can look past a parade IMO

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

This is such a myopic, stereotypical view of players. They only care about money, not parades or how they're treated by fans. That as long as they get paid, nothing else is relevant, right? Total nonsense. The 'working class hero' is as eye rolling as it gets.

I just pointed out FOUR players who do care. Here is a fifth - Duke Johnson tweeted about it, and responded with cheering emoji's to a guy who said, "That parade was so disrespectful. Us true fans ride or die."

But we'd be so much better off without Duke Johnson, Emmanuel Ogbah, Danny Shelton and Christian Kirksey. Great thinking.

You have to be completely delusional to think a team captain having to say, "Don't kick us when we're down," to fans isn't something that will resonate with his colleagues.

You have to be off some kind of medication to think that Duke Johnson praising the parade as being called disrespectful has no meaning.

That someone like Ogbah calling it a "joke" and "completely wrong" is something we should condemn him for while siding with Reflog because he's sure going to pad up and play DE, right?

Nah. Weak response. They're the NFL players - when they say it has an impact, none of us are in a position to deny that unless you want to get out there and take some hits yourself.

Just a general reply

I dindt attend the parade, and have mixed feelings about it , if it wasnt -10 with windchill I may have went down just to check it out since I had to drive up to Cleveland for something else yesterday anyways .

But people are using this parade as a reason to look down on Browns fans , but think about this. How many other teams could go 0 and 16, and 1 and 31 and still have enough fans left that care to have thousands show up in dangerous cold temps to tailgate and have a parade?

Could you imagine if the Steelers went 1 and 31, how many Ohio Steelers fans would fall off the wagon?

Just a Browns fan with an opinion that doesn't embarrass his city and team in the national media. Have a nice day.

It's classless. It reminds me of those entitled white boys burning LeBron's jersey in the streets. Yeah, you are getting attention. Good for you. But, you are classless and your actions make Cleveland look bad in the eyes of educated people.

How does "entitled white boys" fit in to what you're trying to say?
Just Vers turning everything into a race issue, as usual

I am just going to say the Parade was not my cup of tea, and I would not have gone if I lived a mile away and it was 80 degrees and sunny that day.
