I think your right. If the question was who would you like to see start first then yes Thomas. However that's not the question and you answer the same way I would.

I sort of thought the same thing about position availability.......
Shaffer was a 7th round pick by Atlanta.......has 6 yrs experience......But not to many happy people thinking about his play.......
Now we have a first round pick in Thomas.......and the O line was a big problem.....
Just hope both can add valuable play to this team....quickly..........

I leaned that way a little as well, but my thinking was that with Shaffer, at least there's someone who has been a starter almost his entire career in this league. He may suck, but he is better than nothing.
At CB, the best we have to hold off Wright is Daven Holly, who did well last year, but I really don't think is any better (so far) than a nickle guy.

... there goes Joe Thomas, the best there ever was in this game.

Quinn is the only unsigned player now.
He shouldn't be this tough to sign. He was picked at #22 and so he should sign at #22 money.
