And the league has phoned and reminded the refs just who is intended to win.

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

Hmm, I've seen this movie before...Steelers will win with the comeback, they have all the momentum, Jags best player went out with injury, Steelers getting ticky tack calls go their way, yup you can book it

It may be sweeter to see Billy B and the Pats smack them down another time...

Little doubt about it, Leonard Fornette is a good player, a difference maker in the game.
So was, it appeared, The Titans Rb from yesterday and last week.
So has been Ezekiel Eliott in the whole regular season last year in Dallas.
I think some folks who teach as a given that selecting a Rb early is a bad move should wake up and see.
But, aside from Fortnette,
How did the Jaguars get to this level???????
It's lookin' like they just got really good this year: http://www.jt-sw.com/football/pro/teams.nsf/histories/jaguars/ They added a ton of quality players through free agency over the past couple of years. Calais Campbell, Malik Jackson, Paul Posluszny, A.J. Bouye, and Tashaun Gipson. They also drafted really well on the defensive side of the ball (they got Jalen Ramsey, Myles Jack, and Yannick Ngakoue in the same draft!). Just a few years ago they had a story on 60 minutes about how bad they were, with the owner talking about them. Good for them that they turned things around.

Regarding the Jags - my 2p - The FA additions along with the guys they have drafted have made the difference. That could be Cleveland. It's all about the decisions.

phantom calls and non calls are raising their ugly head for the steelers ...

Is it just me or does it seem like the Jags have little pass rush? Big Ben will eventually eat you up with all day to pass.

Witnessing epic meltdown by Jags

I'd hardly say meltdown. Fournette is not likely 100%. Ben and the offense have adjusted. It's just good 'ol sport when teams are good and it's a game of physical chess.

But the dream was seeing the Jags stream rolling over the Steelers, Pitts losing and having them broken & humiliated afterwards. Just like us Browns fans are every season!

Bet the Jags didn't cut their best producing tight end, Wr, Wr again, and and 2nd wr, and best Db either. Haden, Gabriel, Benjamin, T.Pryor, Barnidge. edit: said Gabriel, meant Hawkins.

If Jacksonville had a Qb this game would have been over long ago

I think Jacksonville could be a potential trade partner at 4, they need a QB

They were strippin' down to bare bones, or so the story goes. Nobody picked up Barnidge, so maybe that one move wasn't bad.

The Steelers went hard count, and when they saw the safety flinch toward the line, Ben Audibled, I think that may have been why they passed instead of ran.
