Pathetic how we play at home and National tv

well....
we clearly need love to come back as quickly as possible, but other than that, one thing that has been constant among everything else:
coaching.

If somehow lebron stays next year, Lue won’t be the coach. Funny all the players that leave allude and hint that coaching sucks

14 free throws for the Cavs .... 32 for the Spurs.
23.5% 3 point shooting for the Cavs ..... 47% for the Spurs .....
No wonder the Spurs won.
We do need Love back. H e can create his own shot, and he can demand that the defender stay with him because of his range.

i still like what we're getting overall from the new guys.
especially clarkson.
i wouldn't be oppose to the starting lineup change of
Clarkson over JR Nance Jr over TT.

I do like our team better now, still don't know if we can beat GS in one game, let alone 4
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

I believe Lue needs to change the starting lineup. I know JR is a streak shooter but he having less luck it seems. I'm still feeling this team and the chances to get better.

j/c:
I hate being negative considering most of the posts are negative, but I had a few issues w/this game:
1. Why did Hill play so many minutes when he is clearly struggling?
2. Why doesn't Clarkson play more minutes?
3. How the hell can you not have in either TT or Nance down the stretch?
4. The starting lineup has Hill, Cedi, and TT. Not enough scoring options. I can see TT starting and allowing Nance to play w/the second unit, but Hill and Cedi in addition to TT is hard to overcome.
5. Why in the hell did Korver play so much? He wasn't hitting and he turned the ball over?
6. Nance needs more minutes.
I despise complaining about coaches, but damn Lue..........your rotations sucked ass!
Some positives:
--I thought TT and Nance did a pretty damn good job no LA. Dude is a stud and he kills everyone. We made him work.
--Clarkson can create his own shots and isn't bashful.
--Our team defense was good early, then we went w/dumb lineups.
--Love will really help the first unit when he comes back.
Sorry for being so negative, but I got a little frustrated w/Lue during the game.

I got bad news Vers, and I’ve been telling you this for a while now.
YOU DON’T KNOW THE DEFINITION OF NEGATIVE!!!!
Your post was objective, just like the others but even more so because you posted the good and bad, well thought out observation.
Don’t be so hard on yourself.
WE DON'T NEED A QB BEFORE WE GET A LINE THAT CAN PROTECT HIM my two cents...

Thanks Ted. The negativity on these threads got me down this year. I'll be upbeat tomorrow, but damn man, I didn't get the minutes that these guys got today.

Yeah, as bad as Lue is with his rotations, we were getting open looks ... we were just clanking shots. Lue wasn't the one missing the shots. I think the biggest reason we lost was because we couldn't hit the broadside of the barn once we were up late in the 2nd quarter. That said, certain guys should be getting a lot more minutes than others are getting.

Just got back from the game....a few observations:
WTF is up w/JR? He looks indecisive, almost to the point of being clueless offensively. He seemed pretty sharp defensively, but when Lue yanked him for Korver, I don't think we saw him after that.
Lue was pretty engaged with the players during timeouts....moreso than the game I went to last year. He had their attention, also.
I have no clue why Nance Jr. didn't get more playing time. He was all over the court making plays when he was in.
Pops was working the refs almost from the opening tipoff. It was almost sickening. Then they called that T on Lue...we didn't see exactly what for, but Pops was at the refs a lot more than Lue was.
TT is absolutely no match for Aldridge, who had his way with him all night.
I don't know what's happened to Green lately. He's taken a step backward since the trade.
Cedi was absolutely horrid today.
Hill and Hood were less than mediocre.
Clarkson really plays with energy. He also should have played more minutes.
Lebron was awesome as usual.
If we could have hit some 3's, we would have won easily. Our percentage was much lower most of the game than the 25% or so we finished with. SA was at 40% most of the game.
First time they lost in the 4 games I've been to. It's still a great time.

It would've been a good game to go to!
Yeah, Nance should've gotten more play time. Our three balls also are crap. Cedi missed a bunch I feel, wide open. Had four fouls too early, given refs were calling everything. His fourth foul looked like a total non foul, but whatever.

At least the good news out of all of this:
We now know that under bright lights on national tv against a western conference playoff team, clarkson will absolutely bring it.

If Lue gives him any time ~ He just needs to keep missing his shots and he'll get his playtime. Heck, may even secure a starter role. Works for JR in Lue's eyes.

Korver has seemed streaky recently. Almost like JR.
He will miss 3 in a row, hit 4 in a row, then miss 3 more. As I type that, he hits another.

Watch, he will miss his next 2 or 3 then hit a few more in a row. Am I the only one who thinks TT is a turnover waiting to happen when he gets the ball?
