I do think that we have to take solace in the fact that most folks aren't as biased as those who populate this forum. I think a lot of folks have decent common sense and can see the good and the bad on both sides.
I read this forum and I get depressed and kind of lose hope for humanity. Both sides are so despicable. So biased. So set in their ways and unwilling to empathize what the other side has to say.
However, not all people are like that. When I have conversations w/both blacks and whites.........most folks have the common sense to know that there are good and bad in all of the different groups and that it is ignorant to make broad, general statements that pertain any certain group.

Don't take the time to research the money angle, because we know that greed never has much to do w/anything and that back in the day, doing the right thing was of ultra importance, even though there were slaves in the North.

I think Kant said it best when he surmised art as purposive without purpose. Although I don't think those ideas were really ever pushed until the 40's and 50's with the classical music of the time.

Who is Hillary? Among many other things, she is someone who looked up to and was influenced by Margaret Sanger. Margaret Sanger is a feminist icon and liberal progressive hero for her work in pushing abortion as a "right to choose" and a way to empower women.
But Margaret Sanger is also the one who pushed abortion as a means of a pseudo-genocide of blacks, and as a means to control their population. She also talked about co-opting the leaders of black communities in order to keep those communities "in check". Though I'm not sure if she spoke about those things before, during, or after her photo shoots with the guys wearing white hoods.
Sanger was only logistics and a hair more sadistic shy of being the next Hitler.
I guess what I'm saying is, it's difficult for me to care about the occasional off color statement made by Trump or anyone else for that matter, when a group of people who complain about being oppressed, repressed, and treated as second class citizens throw the full weight of their political influence (which in spite of being oppressed is quite sizable) behind a woman who was greatly influenced by someone who wanted to see them wiped from the face of the earth.
