Son, don't you know that Funk was my reaction to/rejection of 'all things disco?' Disco here, disco there... disco straight in the garbage can.

Disco made John Travolta hip. Disco gave Vinnie Barbarino as much street cred as John Shaft... and that just ain't right. That's how awful it was.

Pretty much anything country.

Endless Love-the original one. They played that song every 20 minutes for months.

Physical-Olivia Newton John. Another one you couldn't miss turning on the radio.

Killing Me Softly-don't know by who, don't wanna know by who.

All this whiny assed emo crap.

Don't like punk.

Don't like speed metal either.

I liked disco, because I was too young to know any better. I was in grade school when this was popular.

I will say, my favorite disco artist was Donna Summer though. That's different.

Man, I ain't even tryin to click on that mess.

Besides, it's seared into my brain. I don't need to play it to hear it.

This is how enemy agents would break me.
They don't need to waterboard my ass... just strap me down and BeeGee TF outta me.

I'd be singing like a nightingale.

EDIT: new sig:
"Don't BeeGee me, bro-"

I liked that song, till I went on a one day road trip a church buddy from Lorain to Athens to Ohio U because he was thinking of attending there.

I don't know how he did it, but every time he changed the station, that song was on, and he sang along with it-POORLY.

THERE

AND

BACK

I actually really dislike 'Bohemian Rhapsody'.

Yes, I can recognize it's brilliance, but Queen literally do nothing for me. Never have and that song is way overplayed.

not a big fan of anything Elton John

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

The hate is strong and the list is long, but these will do for a start ...

Brand New Key - Melanie
Honey - Bobby Goldsboro
Seasons in the sun - by whoever he was
Ballroom Blitz - The Sweet
Cover of the Rolling Stone - Dr Hook
Afternoon Delight - Starland Vocal Band
Spinning Wheels (or anything featuring David Clayton Thomas) - Blood, Sweat, Tears
Bohemian Rhapsody, and most others by Queen

Most Beatles songs. Sorry, never been a fan. Hey Jude, Revolution, Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da & Helter Skelter are the few exceptions. I can put up with a couple others, but most of them suck. IMO of course.

Let the outrage begin.

What's that song by Kid Rock? Oh yeah, ALL of them.

'Cotton-Eye Joe' by whoever that is.

'Right Now' by Van Hagar.

'Jukebox Hero' by Foreigner.

'MMM MMM MMM MMM' by Crashtest Dummies

'Friends in Low Places' by Garth Brooks

Gwen Stefani's solo material.

Pretty much any remake of a song that is released as a single with very few exceptions.

I only met him once back in the early 80’s, but my cousin on my Dad’s side was his guitar player.

Instead of building a wall on our borders, maybe we can just pipe in Barry Manilow and Bee Gee songs. No one would want to enter such a place.

A wall of sound? Just tell them the entire country is the Copa Cabana (I did like that song too).
