Yes I am assuming, the browns are making a fair deal. But I am not basing that on anything the media is reporting.
Assuming is fine...but when you act upon the assumption and bad mouth another person you are WRONG to do so. I mean what if it comes out later that the Browns stonewalled the negotiations just so it would put them in the situation not to play him. Although you would be happy that Quinn doesn't play this year, it certainly would blow away your contention that they are making a fair offer.
I am not saying that is what is happening...I don't know what is happening...What I do know is this...It is not fair to either side to judge them with no information concerning the issue. The media certainly isn't a reliable source as we have seen a different cause of the problem from every article....Even if it proves to be true that Brady was being too greedy....It is not right to judge him NOW based upon assumptions....Berate him later when things are known as facts....

Wrong, not everybody is greedy, and many would be thankful to sign a contract that takes care of them for the rest of their lives, while letting them preform their dream job.

Like I said. "I am not going on anything on what the media says" Brady has been offered a contract that is fair.

Looking around, clayton is saying the offer is 5 years, 8mil guaranteed. The hangup is the 1 mil base in year five.
I don't see it as the guaranteed portion that is a holdup...it is the salary in the final years...
Bump the thing if the guaranteed portion is only 8. Then after 4 years we could cut him and the prorated portion of the bonus wouldn't be that much of a hit. Take him to 4 mil or whatever in that final year knowing we will have to make a decision on him after 4. Really, 4 years is all it takes to know if you have your guy or if you have a pretender.
Really, it sounds to me that the Browns are trying to protect themself for his second contract more than they are from his first because 5 mil a year would be the starting point v 1 mil a year being the starting point.
I think we are trying to think too far forward and have lost sight of the here and now.

Ahh but Tom Brady also wasn't expected to be "the Future" of his Team. He was a flyer and you know it.

No No no No...this isn't about Greed it is about FAIRNESS. Are you telling me that if you were offered a job at an amount that was far less than everyone else with the same job...when you could go to some other company and do the same job and get more????Which would you rather support your family with??? 8 million or 10???to you it sounds like the world....because our positions will not allow us to make that much...but if I KNEW...not hoped...but KNEW that I could get 10 million instead of 8 then I would definitely go for 10....

Wrong, you don't know that BY ANY MEANS..you ASSUME and when you act on that assumption you are WRONG. Just because you would play the position for the leagure minimum it does not mean that the league minimum is fair to someone expected to take this team to the next level.
Maybe the Browns are offering the Moon and Stars and that is not enough for Quinn....Maybe they are trying to get him cheap. The fact is we don't know...Brady Quinn should be paid according to what he brings and is expected to bring to the Browns...end of story...

Quinn's agent invites Cleveland Browns to end contract impasse Saturday, August 04, 2007 BROWNS INSIDER Quinn's agent invites Browns to end talks Brady Quinn's agent, Tom Condon, has invited the Browns to Kansas City to try to break the impasse and get Quinn into camp, a league source said. Condon, who declined to comment Friday, has made three trips to Cleveland to try to get the deal done and the source said he thinks it can be hammered out quicker in person. However, Condon wants the Browns to come his way, both literally and figuratively. Asked Friday if the Browns are willing to make the trip, General Manager Phil Savage was noncommittal. "We'll have to see," he said. The Browns and Condon remain less than $1 million apart on the guaranteed money, but about $2.5 million apart on incentives, which can add $10 million to the total package, a second source close to the negotiations said. While many believe Condon and Quinn seek a contract worthy of a top-10 pick - even though Quinn was drafted at No. 22, they're pursuing the same base and guarantee as No. 20 pick, cornerback Aaron Ross of the Giants, the league source said. Ross, also a client of Condon's, received a 5-year $13.5 million deal, including an $8 million signing bonus. Condon's camp feels Quinn should make No. 20 money because of the quarterback premium. The Browns are willing to pay a premium, but right now are thinking more along the lines of the No. 21st pick, free safety Reggie Nelson, who received a 5-year $13.1 million deal, including a $7.1 million bonus, the source close to the negotiations said. Condon is believed to be seeking playing time incentives similar to other NFL quarterbacks. Incentives for the fourth and fifth years of the contract would kick in when Quinn reaches 55 percent of the snaps twice, or 70 percent once in his first three seasons. It's what each of his other quarterbacks have received who were not the No. 1 overall pick, including players such as Matt Leinart and Chad Pennington. The Browns want those numbers to be slightly higher and also for Quinn to hit other triggers such as Pro Bowls to max out the deal. The league source said the Browns have shown they buy into the concept of the quarterback premium because of Joe Thomas' deal. Although Thomas received the highest signing bonus ever given to an offensive lineman ($23.5 million), his total compensation for five years is about $5 million less than last year's No. 3 overall pick, quarterback Vince Young ($47.5 million vs. $42.5 million). "We've acknowledged the fact there is a quarterback premium and we have some flexibility," said Savage. "But we've got to have some flexibility from the other side to get a deal done." Savage said the Browns have signed big-name free agents such as LeCharles Bentley and Eric Steinbach. He also pointed out the record bonus given to Thomas and that the Browns bent to get Eric Wright in on time. "It makes no sense that all of a sudden when we pick a quarterback in the first round, at the 22nd spot, that we'd all of a sudden change gears and say, 'This is the face of the franchise, this is potentially our No. 1 quarterback for the future and now we're going to slap him around with a lowball contract.' It's totally illogical." He said the Browns should've seen the holdout coming, because last year's third-round receiver Travis Wilson, also a Condon client, held out for four or five days. "If any of us were going to kid ourselves that a first-round quarterback was going to be here on time when a third-round receiver wasn't, then we're all foolish," said Savage. The source said the deal can get done in an afternoon if the two sides meet face-to-face and are committed. Extra points: Tackle Ryan Tucker worked with the third-team offense in the evening practice. . . . Fullback Lawrence Vickers limped off during the controlled scrimmage at night after having his knee worked on. . . . Coach Romeo Crennel confirmed that Jason Wright and Isaac Sowells suffered concussions. Wright was on the sidelines Friday night and should be back soon. Sowell's injury is a bit worse. it sound like they are really close on the base salary and guarantees- certainly not enough that a compromise can't be reached, and a deal signed.
But those incentives of Pennington and Leinart are probably the sticking points. I really like the pro bowl incentive. It means he is playing well. Afterall, if he is going to make premium $$$ like a pro bowler- he should be putting up numbers like a pro bowler.
Get payed for production- more contracts should be like that. Its good for both sides. IF a player over achieves he makes more. IF a player busts, it protects the team.

Are you honestly going to tell me Quinn doesn't care about the future of the organization? That is crap and we both know it.
He doesn't care about the teams Salary Cap. He cares about himself and his money.
... Well we can bunch the WHOLE NFL (except for Troy Brown maybe?) with Brady Quinn as someone who doesn't care for the future of their team, because almost every single player in the NFL wants to get paid, you think they really care about the salary cap of their team when they sign their deal? This makes Nate Clements the NFL's version of Hitler I guess...
My point exactly. Every Browns fan should be behind Savage and the FO on this one. Players do not care about the future of the Browns. Quinn doesn't care about the future of the Browns. They care about their money and their individual performance.
Savage is trying to do what's best for the Browns in the $$ department. Condon is trying to do what's best for himself in the $$ department. Quinn is trying to do what's best for himself in the $$ department.
Should I side with Condon? Should I side with Quinn? Should I side with the Browns?
We all know Savage has offered a fair deal by now. Quinn will be the highest paid QB on the Browns the day he signs. Yet, Quinn might never play a down if he's a complete bust. Wow, how unfair to Quinn. Possibly making millions for doing absolutely nothing on the football field.
Sorry, WinslowBodden, but I'll side with the FO everytime on a 1st round pick. Teams do not rip off 1st round picks. I guarantee you that Brady Quinn has been offered more than a fair deal for being picked #22.

Of course those numbers are from Condon's camp not Savage. According to two reports we have already offerred 8 mil not 7.1 which is more like 20 guaranteed money and close to 15.
What all must recognize its not so much Quinn but Condon - he is the RAT.
"Savage said the Browns have signed big-name free agents such as LeCharles Bentley and Eric Steinbach.
1 quarterback for the future and now we're going to slap him around with a lowball contract.' It's totally illogical."
He said the Browns should've seen the holdout coming, because last year's third-round receiver Travis Wilson, also a Condon client, held out for four or five days."
Just what I've said all along - we have offerred nothing but more than fair contracts to all. Now with BQ we are going to start being Richards about it. A kid we paid a lot to move up to the #22 spot for a Franchise QB.
Also whats this come to KC bs? What a slap in the face is that. He's got no other clients on his plate right now - Savage's work is never done but show me where the GM and Staff all fly to the Agents domain. Savage is seeking a job with Condon or Condon has a client seeking employment with the Browns.
Also this is a ploy cause it came out that Condon hasn't been returning calls and that he has been very instrumental in having this process slow down to a stream of Molasses. So he invites Savage to a offer that he knows he has to refuse - Why so he can say I tried but it didn't happen. What game is this? I'm telling you he doesn't want a negotiation. He wants what he is asking for and nothing else.
I think its time to NEVER, EVER, Draft or sign a FA client with Condon as an agent EVER AGAIN - I don't care if its Rin Tin Tin. Time to Black Ball Condon.

I've said all along - unless BQ steps in and demands his agent get the deal done. Its not going to. BQ's stance of I'm out of this and letting my agent do what needs to be done was good enough prior to training camp. But he is almost at 10 camp days lost which are pretty much the 10 days that the offense is put in. We might stretch it to 13 cause its new. But from then on we work on Game plans.
07 is a free year - a bonus year now, he will not earn 07 what Millions of Dollars to be a Trainee giving nothing in return. That in itself should be a bonus for him and his contract. He's in day one of camp and he's fighting for a position and learning a lot where if he is not the starter he creeps up the ladder to #2 and first guy in on an injury or need of a change of leadership.
Now...he's a trainee for the entire season earning not a dime.
Oh and Brownie...only way we get our 08 1st round pick back is if Romo falls flat on his face and we trade BQ to Dallas for our #1 pick back. They reap our 07 #36 pick for free in the deal.
JMHO - he has to demand to Condon to get this done...not even Sign what the Browns Offer but demand to GET IT DONE at least intense negotiations will ensue and it will be negotiated!

Have the two sides gotten into a pissing contest here? If these guys just sit down in a locked room, they'll get the deal done in a long afternoon. They're not that far apart!!!!!!!
There are more important things for the team to be concentrating on...like the upcoming season and beating the Stoolers!!

"So it's "pure blind loyalty" instead of seeing it as a "business negotiation" on your part?"
Now thats a load of crap
"I don't think I will be in any Browns corner for a hold out unless proven that we are being less than fair."
So you just do selective READING I see. Where is this interpreted as BLIND LOYALTY...nice Mud to throw and hope that it sticks.
Fact is yes, I am loyal to the BROWNS but not BLIND way to take a good thing and throw mud with a LIE of "BLIND" and discredit me. When I come right out in the post that you are basing that LIE on and say UNLESS ITS PROVEN THAT WE ARE BEING LESS THAN FAIR.
How is that blind...looks like I'm Loyal within REASON
Very dissapointed in your Smear Tactics there. Guess this BQ thing is getting like politics huh

U have gone and done it again .. damm those shoes fit GREAT .... now your comparing Tom Brady a 6TH RND DRAFT PICK who the patriots TRADED WHAT FOR??? they didnt even have to give up a needle they put in the footballs to blow them up for him much less AN ENTIRE FOOTBALL PLAYER drafted in rnd 1 or pick 4 int he 2nd rnd (anotherwords more than likely a VERY GOOD FOOTBALL PLAYER) ... and Tom Brady was DRAFTED IN RND 6 ..... just in case u forgot .. GM the STUPIDITY of your scenarios should pretty much show u how WRONG u are in this ... that would clear it ritght up for U if u would just take those damm shoes off ..

Boy you look up all the facts for Brady but nothing about Boller a more better example. Then tell me why should you look it up to defend BQ...but I see in an example that you can tool somebody with you had no problems doing it
Me thinks you know the answer to the Boller scenario and just wishes it away cause it would prove a precedent that BQ n Condon are being very unreasonable in their demands.

I agree.
It also looks to me like we are the ones trying to squeeze the blood from the turnip.
It sounds like those incentives are pretty standard as far as play time...and the pro bowl deal isn't realistic for a qb on the Browns playing in the AFC....too many good qbs with the name v a guy on a team that hasn't done crap to help any of our guys make a pro bowl in a while.
Almost makes me thing savage is purposely screwing around to give the team the perfect reason not to play the kid this year.
The Browns get a BIG from me on this one.

IF this is true and thats a BIG IF .... heres what i think .... Quote:
While many believe Condon and Quinn seek a contract worthy of a top-10 pick - even though Quinn was drafted at No. 22, they're pursuing the same base and guarantee as No. 20 pick, cornerback Aaron Ross of the Giants, the league source said.
Ross, also a client of Condon's, received a 5-year $13.5 million deal, including an $8 million signing bonus. Condon's camp feels Quinn should make No. 20 money because of the quarterback premium.
The Browns are willing to pay a premium, but right now are thinking more along the lines of the No. 21st pick, free safety Reggie Nelson, who received a 5-year $13.1 million deal, including a $7.1 million bonus, the source close to the negotiations said.
i think what Condon wants in this case is fair ... getting two slot higher this far down the 1st rnd and only 900k difference is fair ....
Quote:

Incentives for the fourth and fifth years of the contract would kick in when Quinn reaches 55 percent of the snaps twice, or 70 percent once in his first three seasons. I like the #'s .. think thats in line .. the TRIGGERS .... for snaps??? *LOL* ... thats a JOKE .... I believe a SMALL PORTION of the triggers could be based on SNAPS ..but the MAJORITY should be associated with ACCOMPLISHMENT .... Opies RIGHT and Condons being a JACKASS on this one ...
If BQ PRODUCES he should be paid in years 4 and 5 COMMENCERENT with those ACCOMPLISHEMNTS ....
so IMO thier both PARTIALLY to blame .. witch is usually the case ...
the reason he extended the invite is just a PLOY ... its sumptin he can say to the press to "show" he's willing to hash it out without him commenting on all about the contract ... its basically his way of telling Opie if he wanted to use the press for negotiationing like OPIE IS TRYING TOO .... he could ...
when its ready to get done ... Condon will be here ... or opie will go there ... its really NO BIG DEAL ...

*LOL* ... I gave my thoughts ... witch u will no doubt disagree with since in your eyes the browns can do nothing wrong ... .... but i didnt look up squat for Brady ... GM said he was a 6th rnd draft pick and thats COMMON KNOWLEDGE ... i also ASSumed they didnt MOVE up to get him .. but i could be wrong ... I have NO CLUE what Boller got or those around him .. NOR DO I CARE ... hopefully this is done before i get back from vacation .. (if its not i'll have a stroke .. *L*) .. then we can fight with each other over sumptin else .. *L* ..

Why in the world would he do that? That makes absolutely no sense. He went above and beyond to draft this kid, to do what?.... sit on a bench?.. Hardly, Savage wanted him in camp and maybe have him ready for the squeelers. He can't offer him the world, cause if you do, you have next year and next year and next year to deal with. Not only the Browns, but the rest of the league as well. "Quinn was picked 22nd and got this and this and this." It's probably too late for Quinn to help us right away, so why give the farm away now.

Brady maybe working out, but is he facing game type conditions in those workouts? Does he face a pass rush, with arms extended? Do his receivers have defenders on them? No one seems to acknowledge these bits of information, or they don't say in teh interviews. CF and DA are getting an extra 50 passes a day while BQ stays away. The article that had this in it stated their arms are a bit tired. With a new system and as questionable as CF and DA are as being real NFL quality qb's. Do you think BQ not being here offers CF and DA more time to get the new sysytem down and adjust to throwing in a timely manner to their receivers. Thus giving the Browns coaching staff more time to evaluate CF and DA. Let's face it, BQ should be as good as either CF or DA. if we are lucky he will be better.

If these statements are true,Quinn/Condon are asking for a fair deal. Of course the Cleveland sports media has the fans worked into a frenzy. Everyone is ready to play into the media and FO hands by making Quinn/Condon the scapegoat. So what's new in Cleveland?
Not much

I don't blame them either. But if "getting Brady into camp is "so damned important" what's a "one step up premium for your future franchise QB"? Not very damned much to be raising such a stink over. The only thing that REALLY troubles me is that Phil seems to be playing the media to turn fans against our future QB. Not a very bright move IMO

And for all the whining around here, what's the big frickin deal? If the kid ain't gettin' it by the end of year three, you really think he'll still be the starter here? Let's face it,based on signing bonus alone, cutting him wouldn't be a huge cap hit by year four anyway, right?
And if he IS getting it? He'll get paid for it. So what?
Quote:
The Browns want those numbers to be slightly higher and also for Quinn to hit other triggers such as Pro Bowls to max out the deal.
So IF Leon "magicly learns to catch" passes and IF our OL stays healthy and IF the other ten players (that are not in Quinns control) play well,Quinn makes the pro-bowl. But what if they don't play well and Quinn does? He gets penalized based on that? Yeah, that sounds fair.
Quote:
"We've acknowledged the fact there is a quarterback premium and we have some flexibility," said Savage. "But we've got to have some flexibility from the other side to get a deal done."
If this story IS accurate, your "flexability is quite limited" and what they're asking for may not be EXACTLY what you "want to pay" but it is by NO MEANS unfair. So quit playing the media and fans against Quinn the way you're doing and just get on with it. You're sounding more like Butch every day. You're much more talented than Butch, but this is a petty childish game you're playing. And quite honestly,I think it's beneath you to act in this fashion.
Quote:
"It makes no sense that all of a sudden when we pick a quarterback in the first round, at the 22nd spot, that we'd all of a sudden change gears and say, 'This is the face of the franchise, this is potentially our No. 1 quarterback for the future and now we're going to slap him around with a lowball contract.' It's totally illogical."
Then quit squabbling over paying him #21 money instead of #20 money and be done with it. Surely if you think "he's the future" that little bit isn't worth all of this "let's paint Brady to be the bad guy/holdout BS"..........................

The source said the deal can get done in an afternoon if the two sides meet face-to-face and are committed.
If that's the case and Condon has been here THREE times and it isn't done? Get your ass on a plane Phil!

That's exactly what I said in my last post. They sat down with Wright/Thomas' agent face to face and got it done. It didn't sound like, up till now, that Condon wanted to do this. I'm glad he now wants to sit and get it done, but why in KC? Browns HQ is in Cleveland. Fly there ya lazy .

This is the thing that gets me DawgPound. Quinn is the only player left for Condom to negotiate for. The fact that he is not in Berea at this stage of camp is amazing and says alot to me. It says Brady has left the entire process up to Condom and is only interested in the money at this point. All his commnets about playing for the Browns and getting to camp on time are totally supersceded by "the Business side" as Brady calls it. Brady had a golden opportunity to own this team and town and is instead replacing it with ill-will. This hold-out does nothing more then increase the pressure on him to perform.

Pretty simple. Your ASSUMING that we ARE being fair and ASSUMING he's NOT being fair. Based on what? If you do not KNOW the specifics in these negotiations, why are the BROWNS "assumed" to be "the good guys" and Quinn is ASSUMED to be the bad guy? It's a contract negotiation for God's sake. Not Batman verses The Riddler! He isn't guilt of breaking NFL rules, being suspended and using steroids. Oh that's right,I forgot. While it's "wrong" you won't asassintate a guy for that. But if he's negotiating a contract? Pull out the double barrel.

Quinn is a no talent punk, I hated the pick, and now this ridiculous holdout is doing more to confirm what I have felt about this guy from day 1.
The Browns were fair with every other signing, so why would they try to screw Quinn---makes no sense.
Bottomline, Quinn wants $$$, more $$$ than we are ready to offer an overrrated, over-hyped, pretty boy QB.
I wish to wash my Irish wristwatch......

Look as long as BQ hold out he's a douche-bag, pure and simple. The day he signs and officially become a Brown... is the day I open my arms to him and like anyone in my family, Forgive him and rejoice.
So you judge people's actions and call them a douche bag because they aren't "wearing a Browns uniform". Quite "fair minded of you". Forgive him? For what? Trying to look out for his future? Now that's truely sad right there. :
Quote:
I'm pretty consistant. You're a Brown I love you...You're not a Brown - I could care less. Thats how it is. Right now BQ is not a Brown. His agent is a piece of dirt who for all we know hates us for spurning his client Couch and throwing him to the wayside which was one of Savage's first moves!
We do? And how is it "we know this" again? What are you basing this "aqusation" upon exactly?
Quote:
I don't trust Condon...it don't sound fishy to anyone that Condon has NO CLIENTS out there left to negotiate and yet we can't sit down and get this done. That feedback from him make a one hour communication and negotiation feedback into 1 week. Until BQ comes out and DEMANDS his agent get him signed and in BQ will be a hold out. When BQ does that he becomes my hero and I welcome into the family.
So Brady should say "To hell with me and my future! To hell with getting what I say or think is fair! Just sign whatever they offer"!???????
I hope we drafted a QB who's just a little smarter than that,or our future may be very bleak.
Quote:
So because I'm not pie in the sky with BQ something is fishy with you??? Confusing??? Actually I've always been on the side of our FO concerning any of our Rookies signing late. Travis Wilson I ignored cause quite frankly he was a 3rd rounder, we were deep in WR and he's a WR a position I don't rate high.
So if you're a first or second round draft choice by the Browns who isn't "signed on time" you want to trash them like dirt without knowing the details., Without having the "facts of the matter". It's cut and dry no matter WHAT THE FACTS ARE!
Yep. That is the very definition of "blind loyalty".
Quote:
But I came down on BE when he held out...When they hold out I feel they are going against their word when they say they will get into camp on time and money is not an issue with them.
Money isn't an issue? Or "being treated fairly" isn't an issue"? Of course you lump these two into the same category. How conveniant!
Quote:
But all I know is that we are close to 15 guarantee money that we offerred...more than 10% of what #21 got. So we are already offerring BQ more money than 22 slot and that is because he's a QB. I agree position should be considered and I think we are making fair offer's accordingly.
And of course the same thing in garuntees that the #20 got in incentives is WAY unfair for a QB to ask for? This isn't a communist plot. Quit asassinating the kid over a frickin' business deal. For God's sake Tab,you act like somebody stole your wife.
Quote:
And what we don't know is what Incentive bases are involved...Rogers contract with the Packers could have him getting 30 mil more I'm sure we have laid out something similar. But what I'm hearing is the more we put out there as in incentives Condon wants a pct of that Guaranteed instead of earned.
There's a LOT "we don't know" and there's a lot of DIFFERENT things we're "hearing". None of which is worth basing an opinion that this is "all Brady's fault on".
Quote:
Meanwhile you got BQ going on record saying what if I'm a starter I just want to be paid like one....well that is what the incentive achievements are covering. Either he is a liar or is being mis-informed by his agent.
That,or you don't know enough about what's REALLY going on to even make such ABSURD accusations upon! Jumping to conclusions, judging people and dogging a kid over "contract negotiations"? Which you have NO IDEA of the details?
Quote:
All I know is he needs to demand that his agent sit down and get this done...or he might be out for a long time. He might cost us a 08 first round pick as well as the 07 2nd with no return??? Who knows what Condon has in store.
Well I'm 100% sure YOU DON'T know "what Condon has in store". And all he should "demand from his agent" is that he be treated fairly and given a deal in line with others that have been in his position. Like say Chad Pennington? Otherwise,Brady is being a fool and so is Condon.
I don't hire a lawyer then tell him how to be a lawyer. If I did? I would be as big of an idiot as you claim Brady should be. Idiots generaly don't make very good QB's.
Quote:
All I know is when he is a Brown thats when I put on my Orange glasses...till then he don't get that respect from me.
And untill then, you're going to be bias, show blind loyalty to this FO without even really knowing what in the hell is really going on behind the scenes.
Quote:
Just cause I don't agree with somebodies opinion all of a sudden I'm being a Half empty kind of guy? Where, Where have I put any whoa on the Browns expect for my fear of this going on and we lose our rights to BQ all together. Just cause I'm not in BQ's corner on this one.
Good Lord man,how gullible do you believe people are. He's held out a WEEK and you're claiming that your concern is "losing the rights to Quinn"? And that's the motivation for such a rant? Pulease............ I'm not in "Quinns corner" and don't expect anyone to be. But there's a HUGE difference in "being in someone's corner" and in "blasting the crap out of them without even KNOWING ALL THE FACTS! Which is EXACTLY what you're doing here!
Quote:
I don't think I will be in any Browns corner for a hold out unless proven that we are being less than fair.
That's right. Browns FO = Good and right Everybody else = Wrong & Bad
Nah,no blind loyalty there........................
Quote:
But I believe even Savage out of frustration was quoted today as saying What all of a sudden we decided to SCREW the franchise QB that we chose? When we have been fair with every signed player upto this date. We decided to screw him???
Geesh man. Can't you see beyond the front of your face? Savage is using the press to apply pressure to the Brady camp. Just like he did with Leon. Just like he did with KW2. It's his damned JOB to do that man. Wake up!
Quote:
Its Condon screwing BQ and us as well! I don't like agents...they ruined baseball and they want to ruin football as well!
So it's your "personal dislike" of agents that's created this type of "unfounded bias" in THIS case? That's why you blame Condon,Quionn and NEVER for God's sakes the Browns?
That's why you can't see that everyone in a business deal is posturing and try to get the advantage? And that everyone in this equasion is doing the same damned thing INCLUDING the Browns?
Quote:
I am consistant.
And in this case, that's more than slightly disturbing.

1st off, 8 million is fair. I have also taken jobs that payed me less, than I could have made doing the same thing some place else. Why??? Because I was treated well, and I was happy. Money does not buy happy ness.
Quote:
Wrong, you don't know that BY ANY MEANS..you ASSUME and when you act on that assumption you are WRONG.
Brady WAS offered a fair contract. I am not assuming anything Pete. He was not however offered the moon and stars, nor are the Browns trying to get him cheap.
I AM ALWAYS RIGHT... except when I am wrong.

Let me see, I believe that Quinn is going to work for the Browns,... not the other way around. If the kid wants to go to work, he needs to step up. If he don't... there's always next year.

1st off Bro, I was not the one who brought up Tom Brady. Maybe we should forget about the McGuffy readers, and start you over with your A B C's Quote:

J/C
We are hearing two different stories and I don't know which is more accurate. I do know that it is Condon who should get his ass on a plane for Cleveland. It's his client and he should come to our team, not the other way around.
