It's just as likely we will trade with the Bills at #1 now.
I would love it if your right though.

I guess you can make a case for taking a QB with the number 4 pick .. Grab , SB or CHUB ,or Fitzpatrick , ect,ect at one .

By entertaining offers for #1 now that the Browns have traded for Taylor they could make the Giants nervous that the QB they covet (Let's say Rosen) will not be there. If the Browns want Darnold and the Giants were willing to give the Browns former 1st round CB Eli Apple and the #2 overall to move up to #1. I would make that kinda trade.

I disagree that this is the best QB class in years. There is no clear cut franchise QB. By trading for Taylor, This doesn't put as much priority on getting a QB in the draft now. Take Barkley at 1 and Fitzpatrick at 4, which I think the Browns are going to do now.

Believe me I don't enjoy losing. We just traded for a pretty darn good QB. Now get Barkley, a game breaking, franchise RB and Fitzpatrick, a shut down DB in the draft.

What he hell is the matter with you guys. We have been trying to get a Francise QB since Bernie and I don't agree there are none this draft.TT is not a franchise QB.He got benched last year and the only reason he got back on the field wasPeterman came in and threw 5 picks.

If they take a QB he isn't going to start right away so the Browns may go 3-13 or 4-12 even if they do take a QB. Darnold is a turnover machine. Mayfield is undersized, immature and has average arm strength. Allen is inaccurate and lacks big game production. Jackson has accuracy issues also. If everyone insists the Browns take a QB then take Rosen, but I would rather see them take Barkley.

Take Darnold and quit trying to be cute.

I truly think you can make a "convincing" case for several different plays in this year's draft .. Weather to take your QB at 1 or get cute and wait until 4 ..Do you sit tight with 3 seconds or try and package up and get back into the first for that " must have guy " ! Going to be a very , very interesting draft.

Maybe they took Tyrod specifically to shop the 1st pick because they have the top 5 QBs graded the same.
They will be fine taking a QB at the 4th pick.

Realistically the top 3 picks won't all be QB.
I think it's absolutely crazy to have other teams dictate your future. I can see if you know Darnold or Rosen or Mayfield will be there at 4, maybe, but you don't know. And obviously if you're trading 1, they are coming up to take a QB.
I take QB at 1 and trade 4. It'll be just as valuable when a top 3 QB will be there.

Why in the world would we not draft one of these QB's at number one .. Will we never learn ?? Because whichever QB we take at #4 will be just as good as the one taken at #2 so we might as well make sure we get the best player in the draft Saquan.

As I have said many times as of late ; My crystal ball is in the pawn shop .. WE are all guessing here ! lol .. I ( like so many others ) have my favorite QB. He could go 1 through 4 ,or #15 ! This is going to be so non typical ( Draft ).

I know it sounds arrogant but I am right about QBs so often I don't view it as guessing anymore. Rosen is the best QB in this class bar none but because of his injury issues it's a bit scary to pass on the BPA Barkly to take him at #1 when he might well be there at #4.
I say this with complete confidence. At #4 there will definately be a franchise caliber QB for us. It doesn't matter which one it is whether its Rosen, Darnold, Mayfield, or Mason. Any of those 4 guys will be bonafide starters in this league for a long time to come. It doesn't matter which one we get because they will all end up with good careers. What matters is the team we build around the one we end up with. Taking Saquan at #1 ensure that a huge improvement to the team we draft them to will be there and waiting for them.
I will take a team with Saquan and ANY of those QBs vs one of those QBs and no Saquan. That to me is the real key to this draft being successful.

I do not think we trade the #1 pick. I would Darnold. I would be very open about trading the #4 pick, especially if the G-men and Colts do not take QB's with picks 2 & 3. Colts may trade out, but I think we could be trading down form #4 and maybe moving back up a little later in the first round.
