Hue ruined Kizer in Cleveland.

Whatever he attains elsewhere wouldn't have happened here. Trades can be good for everyone.

Hopefully this won't get lost in the Kizer and/or FO talk...

anyone have an opinion on the guy we got? Slot/outside corner? #1 or 2?

I believe he was the Packers #1. He covered Gordon. How good is he? I don't know.

Since Hue was why they picked all of our QB's, I'm shocked that this FO sent Hue's pick Kizer packing. We already have dysfunction in the organization!

I take this as more of a shut up and coach move directed at Hue.

Tyrod isn't necessarily a Hue type QB. So....

What was his ratio of solo tackles to his passes defensed? That will tell something. Less than 10-1, the lower the better.

And still on the Browns payroll. At least now he's off the books.

Maybe they plan on moving Randall to the position he played in college. FS

I remember Randall when he came out of Zona and he was actually a Safety there.

At the combine he ran and moved as well as the CBs and the Packers moved him to CB.

So there is a chance that Randall could solve the FS question IF they want him to play there.

We got fleeced by the Packers

Kizer took all the rookie lumps last year at our expense and now the Packers reap all the benefits.

Kizer will hopefully sit a year behind Rodgers, if Rodgers goes down for some reason Kizer will step in and play really well and make the Browns look like fools

Give up on a 21 year old after one year when your traded up to take him in the draft...only the Browns do that

I give out rookie 1st rd pick two years before he is run out of town

Kizer's inaccuracy likely won't get significantly better. Good luck to him, though, I got no problem with him, wish him no ill will.

Not to mention, we traded down in two rounds.

So in the 4th round, we drop back 10 places. In the 5th round, we drop back 12 places.

For a back-up corner, that's a little concerning. Who knows, but I just don't see Randall is the answer to our corner issues.

Life's weird. It's only a 4th and 5th, but the value of those picks really hits home given Landry cost a 4th and future 7th.

Randal was a 1st round pick and starter that can play 3 spots CB, SAF

Kizer was a 2nd round pick and is a back-up developmental QB that doesn't contribute on game day unless there is an injury

What round was Randall drafted in?

I thought it was the first? What does that do to the theory you and KOB are talking about?

Randall was their best defensive back by far.

Kizer is a maybe never will be. Randall is a productive DB for many years to come.

you had a good run Hank.

Obviously he was playing safety in this video...but he seems to have some real talent at the position, (like others have mentioned)...wonder if we move him back

What does "What round was Randall drafted in?" do to my theory.

Well, it established a new low for terrible arguments. So congratulations on that accomplishment. Unsurprising coming from you, but none the less an accomplishment.

It emphasises my point. His value has clearly declined based on what occurred on the field. They moved him for far less than they payed for him.

It is what it is. I'll stand corrected if he establishes himself as a starter. I don't see the CB position being solidified, however. We'll see.

Kiser was a second rd QB for a reason, he showed it by getting ZERO wins AND turning the ball over in the red zone seemed like dozens of times....we are about to spend more draft capital on a QB....makes sense to me....especially if he and his agent were peddling himself at combine.....GO Browns!!!

You were the one who brought up the rounds and the value of them.

Well I guess that's the end of the Kizer short era lol. Glad he'll be able to learn under the best QB.

IDK know much about Randall, but I'm not that thrilled with this. I wasn't even a big Kizer supporter.

So you decided a condescending, pissy response was appropriate because... um... I had the audacity to specify the cost of the trade?

Hm.

I don't have anger issues, dude. I just don't like your condescending nonsense, dude. Be an adult or I'll talk to you like the petulant teenager you come across as.

IIRC Hundley is the backup in Green Bay still. Kiser is third string.

I didn't insult you. I just read how you brought up the rounds guys were drafted in and I asked what round was Randall drafted in.

You went off w/your typical insults.

I have no idea why you have been so hostile towards me since you joined the board, but I am guessing that you were banned in the past and are coming back under a new name.

Personalities aside, Kizer is going to be a backup qb in Green Bay. I bet Randall will start for us. I am not so sure that his was a bad trade for the Browns.
