Wait we signed TJ Carrie? I guessed right on that one, as I knew he played at Athens but is a Cali kid.

So does this include the 14 mil we get back with JT retiring?

Jeeze. Players on this team might as well be put on blast. They'll be competing in camp for their jobs and for jobs elsewhere.

Well, I counted Jarvis Landry twice (my bad), but still. That's 10 additions without the draft picks that will come in. #Browns

Now that the new league year is upon us and no trade has materialized, Dolphins are releasing DT Ndamukong Suh, per source. He will be free to sign with another team.

Whew. I can finally share this with you...

One FA WR this cycle to me, when asked about possibly going to Baltimore (he didn't): "I don't think I have the skill set they're looking for...run deep, and try to draw a PI flag..."

Pittsburgh doesn't have the money to get Matthau without cutting a big part of their team ...
They are gonna save a ton w/ shazier not playing.....that's 8 million I think at least.

If you got it from spotrac, it doesn't include them all. Scroll down to the bottom of the list of players and you'll see zeros for several of them. Before Carrie, I think the number would be upper 60s/low 70s. They're pretty quick, I'd expect them to have the site updated by tomorrow.

I understood the Hyde, Hubbard (although overpaid, IMO), Donaldson, and Smith signings. Clearly we need an RB and, even though I like Shon Coleman's trajectory, I don't blame Dorsey for bringing someone in here because of the inconsistency. Donaldson for depth, presumably. Same for Smith. That said, some of these recent signings baffle me because of the contracts they are getting. Maybe the specifics will lend some insight when they come out.

I was rather pleased with the early signings because they weren't too crazy over the top money-wise and helped towards adding depth. The one that is really curious to me is the Currie signing.

As with every new regime change, the guys brought in get precedence over other players.

We'll see.

Allbright was on CBD today and said he and his agent are asking for too much money (shocking) and maybe things level out after other players sign.

Look, IDK if he still has the same agent but I think that agent is hurting his chances more so than helping him (if it's true.)

I'll take TP, but I'm NOT going to overpay the slightest amount for him. Come here because you want to be here and I bet Dorsey would reward you if things worked out.

Rosenhaus.

And the contract he signs, with any team, should be lower than what he got last year. But you know---free agency and all.

sounds like Pryor is pricing himself out of a team.

he's asking for a lot of $

everyone thinks it will come down to Baltimore or us.

I'd offer him 3 years, 10m with 3m guaranteed and incentives that would increase his salary to $7m in year 2 and to $10m in year 3 if he hits certain numbers (say 75 catches, 75 yards, or 5 TDs each year for example). If he hit those numbers, it'd turn out to be a 3 year, $23m deal.

The Minnesota Vikings are finalizing a trade to acquire quarterback Trevor Siemian from the Denver Broncos, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter.

In addition to Siemian, the Broncos will also send a 2018 late-round pick to the Vikings for a pick in 2019 draft, according to the source.

The NFL Network earlier reported news of the trade.

The Broncos already announced they have signed former Vikings quarterback Case Keenum, who was an unrestricted free agent

Go free agency!

The Bears release of Glennon, Wheaton, Cooper, Young, Demps, McPhee, & Freeman cleared a healthy $38.8M of 2018 salary cap. http://bit.ly/2IrHyvQ

I'd offer Pryor 3 years 21 million and give him a shot

Just spoke with Malcolm Butler on a number of topics, including his Super Bowl benching. He hasn’t spoken with Bill Belichick since they departed Minnesota but surmised why he didn’t play that night:

Probably Balt.

We gave Pryor his shot at a good contract and he balked.

I'd give league minimum with a few incentives that might get him to 8 mil over 3 years.

Perhaps both were given a ref's vacation? Have they been battling lately?
