They compared DNA between twins. One who went into space, and one who didn't. And the change was kind of dramatic. (at least I think so) Seems humans are not meant to be in space, or at least, not in the current conditions experienced in space.

There are always opposing views, something you need to learn about, but the scientists seem to have done their work here without political leanings like with man caused global warming.

I’m very surprised at how many people (as represented by some of the posters in this forum) don’t realize:
1) The United States is the “good guys”. 2) Once any other country becomes the leading world power, the average quality of life for humans will go down. 3) Remaining the leading world power will take a lot of commitment.
I’m not saying things are fantastic, just that the U.S. is clearly the best country to be the leading world power.

This 1940's rhetoric that the US is the best just has to stop! We aren't man. We aren't. Things we truly suck at:
1. Healthcare 2. Education 3. Infant mortality rate 4. Incarcerated population 5. Gun control 6. Obesity 7. Racism 8. Sexism 9. Quality of life 10. Homeless population (and how we treat our Veterans) 11. Capitalism and the 1%
These are facts that I've listed of which we suck at and other countries do them better. Look it up. the US isn't even in the top 5 of the categories I've listed. We suck at a lot of important things dude.
I'll also say that one of our biggest problems is religion. I find it funny that our ancestors came to America for religious freedom, and now the places they came from don't even care about religion anymore. And now all we've got here is a pretense of religious freedom. When in reality, we're persecuted every day for the religion or non-religion we choose. This is just an opinion of course, which is why I didn't list it up above with the facts. This isn't an attack on religious people either. I don't care what you believe in. I'm just saying that those who dare care what others believe are a problem.

Just curious what areas makes us a Super power? Because yes, I consider the US a super power as well, but only in military.
And don't get me wrong, I like living here. I haven't lived elsewhere, so I don't have those experiences, but I read a lot. I have talked to Canadians about their healthcare, and have spoken to relatives who live in Australia about theirs. I think that's the issue that bothers me most. But also education. I want my kids to go to college, but I will not allow them to mortgage their future as I did. But that's a whole different topic.
