There is ample anecdotal evidence throughout history that shows emotional decision making is typically a very bad idea.

High Horse time! tsktsk

I have read on multiple occasions where Willit has expressed his disgust with adults using children as they are but I haven't seen him accuse the children of anything.

the 2016 presidential election is a prime example.

I can tell you, none. They are not making life changing decisions. You are just making that crap up.

What they're doing is expressing their opinions and views about a topic. They are exercising their right to free speech and freedom of assembly.

You do realize the Constitution has more amendments than the second one right? And all are equally as important. Don't expect people to try to stand for the amendment that means the most to you if you plan to ignore the amendments that mean the most to them.

They put on a good show like they really care until they move on.

Doesn't matter tho, we have taken steps to place armed guards at many schools in the meantime and hopefully all schools soon.
The kids will be protected. thumbsup

No, you didn't make comments questioning the motives of the kids. I guess those who support your side of victim shaming them just can't read.

Well so far there haven't been a lot of mass shootings at poling locations so yeah, they'll probably vote.

The thing about kids is they grow up and recognize their users and abusers.

This will work against the Left.

It very well could as they get older. I don't know that they've actually been abused by the left but certainly used.

But then again, when the left was the only support they got, maybe it won't backfire on the left.

I'm not really sure how it will play out in the long run.

THAT is an attack according to you? Gotcha, you see, in most peoples world - its called criticism. Attacking would be what they are doing to the constitution under the guise of a tragedy. Its not these kids fault, I even said that. So pointing out the fact its not their fault, is an attack? This is exactly the type of participation trophy mindset that some have instilled to others.

its ok, believe whatever falsehoods you like. I am sure which ever way this falls you will be there saying "see I was right!" no matter the outcome.

When you put into question the motives of children who have witnessed and survived a mass school shooting, you call it anything you like. It's so funny when people try to make a boogeyman out of a victim, then claim they're the one under attack.

Only it seems neither schools in Republican or Democrat strongholds wish to place armed guards and metal detectors at school entrances. They site money or logistics as some kind of excuse not to do so.

Let's face it, arming teachers only addresses the problem after bodies start dropping and the bullets start flying. That's called being a little late to the party.

What needs to happen is metal detectors and armed guards at school entrances. Only when we stop guns from entering schools can we stop the shootings that are happening inside.

You can even see enjoyment in their faces when they are on tv,".

We are working on it but the Left is fighting these security upgrades. It took us 2 weeks to replace those rocks in Pa. with armed guards. We won't stop trying.

Let me ask you GM, does that mean we shouldn't try to stop school shootings?

Because while it may not be your intention, it sure sounds like you're saying, "well why should we care about school shooting cause abortion!"

Everyone knows where you stand on abortion and I certainly respect your viewpoint, but what about the mass school shootings?

And they wonder why people turn against them. Kids survive school shootings and the right wing nuts of the republican party attack the victims.

I feel sorry for the Republicans that have common sense and don't act this way. These extremists in their party reflect poorly on them. Same thing goes for the extreme left side for the Democrats.

I believe we should do what we can to stop them....... BUT when we keep ignoring abortions and placing school shootings ahead of them then then guess what .... school shootings need to be placed on the back burner. Given a choice between saving MILLIONS of unborn children VS hundreds of teens it's not even close in my book bro. banghead

Here's a quote from one of his interviews...

http://insider.foxnews.com/2018/03/24/march-our-lives-backed-rich-liberals-bloomberg-cuomo

Quote:
David Hogg, 17, told an interviewer he is "not going to let that [expletive] happen" when asked about Gov. Rick Scott's (R-Fla.) reelection.

He called for people to "use their white privilege" to make sure their voice is heard on the topic of gun control.
