Confidence takes so many forms! LOLetc. I do not care who wins us games . . .or what they do, height, whatever. But man, we seem frantic to find any excuse to play Mayfield immediately. He has a lot to see, and letting this O line play a few together might border on wisdom. Just trusting Hue and his gut to perform better than last year. Hope we grind some folks' corn this year.

The team announced they have signed quarterback Joel Stave. The team also didn't announce that they hired me to clean the toilets this guy poops in. His cances of making the roster are the same as mine. Probably so....however All teams go to camp with 4 players on the roster, and most teams keep a QB on the practice squad. Stave had a good showing at Wisconsin. You also have to consider what happens after TT leaves. The odds are pretty high that he will after this season. This move could be more about the 19 season then this season.

Yeah, I was hoping to have seen more of him. I get the move though. Yeah and worse yet for him, was the signing of his buddy and fellow safety from BYU as a UDFA which could have played a role in his release.

Honestly, I've never been impressed with Nacua. The guy plays hard and all, but I just didn't see much athleticism or skill. One of those step late guys.
That guy who got injured before the season last year was better. Justin Currie I think his name is. Same with that other guy who got injured before the season.
Kai Nacua was hyped up when we signed him as an UDFA. IMO he only made the team because of need. His pre-season games weren't impressive. And I wasn't impressed in the regular season either.
Best of luck to him, but that's the way things go. Next man up, whoever this new BYU safety is

BEREA, Ohio -- The Browns added another quarterback.
The team announced they have signed quarterback Joel Stave. In addition, the team waived wide receiver Matt Hazel, defensive back Kai Nacua and wide receiver Kasen Williams. I'd have preferred keeping Williams or at least waiting for a better QB than Stave to open up on the waiver/cut wires. I remember Stave in college. The guy wasn't impressive at all. If he wasn't impressive in college, why would he be in the pros?

I'm betting that he is a camp arm being brought in to help handle the load during OTA's, especially being that veteran players aren't reporting, yet.
Browns is the Browns
... there goes Joe Thomas, the best there ever was in this game.

I just think there's better arms we can bring in. Having played at Wisconsin, i've seen a number of his games (I am not an OSU fan or anything, but I root for the Big 10, plus my wife likes the Badgers logo). Stave didn't impress me at all during his time there

QB pick up...exactly, A camp arm.
1. Not really a nit pick situation...lol @#^#&* we could have done better with the guy we are going to release later!
2. Shame Alexander failed his physical. He was going to have a hard time beating Tank out for the final LB. Can't wait to see the new kid Avery, supposedly a ST dynamo!
3. Nacua, ehh he was never going to be the guy to make a difference

Randall Telfer - TE - Free Agent
Browns waived TE Randall Telfer.
Cleveland traded Telfer to Kansas City for LB Dadi Nicolas, but the move never went through. Now that he's been cut, Telfer figures to resurface with the Chiefs.

jmho As always, excellent commentary and analysis, when they are taking the next flight out of Cleveland.

Avery's arms make the darn Incredible Hulk's arms look small by comparison. lol The kid has some guns.

Armonty Bryant, one of the ex Browns, (Xavier Cooper) I said was better than the draft pick Chad Thomas.
Can Deshaun Watson play better for the Browns, than Baker Mayfield would have? ... Now the Games count.

Eagles releasing veteran LB Mychal Kendricks, per source. Kendricks spent six years with Eagles; he’s not expected to be unemployed long. https://twitter.com/AdamSchefter/status/999011340877430784

I heard they might trade him after giving Bradham that contract, but I'm surprised he got cut. He is a pretty good player. I wonder if he'll go to Minni to join his brother?

State companion power lifter and has the visible attributes to back that stat up lol. Like Eo said, I can't wait to see this kid running around, even if just ST for the time being.

One thing I don't like to think about is the potential of him joining the Steelers. (which has been discussed on nfl.com)

Man, I've really liked Kendricks since he came out

Andrew Hawkins just won a game against a bunch of Instagram stars, so he might be a good pick up.

Eddleman Patterson Dorsett are the names that come to mind. They also have Eric Decker. Edelman is suspended for the first four games. Having Tom Brady allows you to not have any good receivers I guess. And then when he does Randy Moss catches 23 TDs. (Also, Gronk.)

I just checked the Ourlads depth chart for the Pats and your answer appears to be accurate. I actually think Dez could make a difference for these guys. Stranger things have happened.

Britt is a genius. Millions of dollars and a Super Bowl ring for doing nothing at all. Genius!

Oh, that's right. I am just used to them winning the darn thing every year that I forgot they didn't last year. Somehow that makes me feel a whole lot better.
