Anyone see the LeBron interview after the game where they told him Popovichs wife passed away? Thought that was completely out of line and classless. Bron was at a loss for words.

I agree, she is very good normally which is why it surprised me. Maybe some context to somehow indicate they spoke about the question before the interview would have been a good thing as it sure didn't seem like he had a clue the question was going to be asked.

Is there footage of this available.
Just for my curiosity??
Totally cool with interviewer asking Bron about it, if she gave him a heads up ahead of time.

Here ya go, second video down: LeBron James defends reporter who asked him about the passing of Spurs coach Gregg Popovich's wife after she's accused of blindsiding Cavs starhttp://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-...vichs-wife.html

It's an NBA story, I get it. However, every interview I saw last night started with that same question. Is it appropriate or needed to get every coach and player's live reaction to the news? This is a personal moment for the Popovich family.
“...Iguodala to Curry, back to Iguodala, up for the layup! Oh! Blocked by James! LeBron James with the rejection!”

np. I'm glad you mentioned it. I went immediately to the Jazz Thunder game after the clock expired. I didn't even see the question.
Also, what a great night for NBA hoops last night. Those were amazing games.

This is a personal moment for the Popovich family. This is how I feel about it. Reporters may have asked whether or not they could pose the question to the players... but did they even take a second to consider the Popovich family and whether they'd approve/disapprove of it? But whew, these questions have stirred up a lot of talk.

Like having LeBron or anyone else comment is going to make some defined stance on the subject. What exactly do they think they are going to get out of asking and what the heck does it matter? Do you really think Pop is sitting there thinking "man I wonder what LeBron has to say about my wife dying?"

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."
