Because the only coffee I need is the coffee from my coffee maker in my kitchen. Me too. I drink coffee - not lattes, or cappuccinos, or any of that other stuff. We have some yuppy friends that, sometimes they'll call at 5 or 6 pm. "Hey, we're going to Starbucks, want to come?" My wife and I never have. Who on earth would pay that much for the drinks they have? I guess, a lot of people - but not me. I guess that's MY image of Starbucks. A place to go so you can tell others you went there. Just MY image of the place. It took me the better part of 2 years from the time I made the decision to try them before I was able to comfortably and competently order a coffee from them. I still struggle with the concept of their smallest size being called "tall"? I dunno, must be the reverse humor of a big fat redneck named "Tiny". I was just talking about this last night with a buddy who used to be a barrista there back in the day. He was in Seattle and ran in to one to use the bathroom. They refused to give him the key unless he bought something. He's as white as me.

I have a hard time understanding this world as a whole, but especially Corporate America. Store had policies, customers refused to abide by policies, police were called, "patrons" still refused to leave until arrested.
So, through all that, Starbucks decides to close every store and pay every employee for racial bias training??? What does that mean? From now on only whites can be denied use of the bathroom?
Here's an idea that cures everything... Quit guarding the bathroom. * Nobody is there to steal the toilet paper * 1.6 L won't affect your water bill * The light is on anyway * People will always have to pee
If Starbucks would follow their normal m.o., they would have the employee with the prettiest handwriting take some crayons and make a sign...

My wife got a $25 gift card there one year for Xmas from a work party. I had never been but she had coffee from there a few times at work. We stopped in between the Holidays to try something new, we tried the Christmas blend. Coffee was so strong it gave me a caffeine buzz. Wife spent the balance of the card on a couple of cups and a small bag of coffee. I've never been back.

It's a lot harder to convince a conservative to give you five bucks for a cup of coffee or make them feel some daily need for a latte'.
They know the difference between want and need.
Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

This is a job creator we are pronging here? Has helped hire vets and other folks.
may be a lame response, but we are approaching a point where any display of conscience must be ridiculed as weakness and wrong.
Bad to worsening IMO.
