Glad the rest are catching up to what I have been saying. 75 Darnold, 20 Mayfield, 5 for everyone else.

Allen however has been the most discussed qb for the past month and we will have teams looking to get him at 4.

Fitz will be there at 12.

Barkley hoes at 2, lots of teams be calling.

Reading things like this makes me feel nauseous. Can it just be Thursday already? The prolonged feeling of illness is taking its toll. If Allen is the pick on Thursday I’ll have the answer to the reason why I’ve felt sick so long. Then the healing can begin. Right now it’s like have the dry heaves and a bowl in front of my face.
If he’s not the pick then my gut can settle back down and I can move on.

Phew! Finally the April Fools Joke is slowly being lifted from our realm of possibility.

He's (Allen) a definite possibility at #22 thank goodness we don't have that pick and we will take the best available QB at #1.

I really do think its going to be Darnold and I will be very confident and pleased. I still have a ray of hope that it will be Mayfield. But them are the two best for us!

Dan Patrick just said on the radio that his source claims: "Darnold and Rosen are off the Browns board. It's between Allen and Mayfield"

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

There is no level of sucking we haven't seen; in fact, I'm pretty sure we hold the patents on a few levels of sucking NOBODY had seen until the past few years.

Hopefully Dan Patrick missed heard what was said and it went like this "Darnold and Rosen are so good they are of the board when compared to the other QBs."

I have heard two things consistently and that's darnold is the guy but a ton of folks in the building love Mayfield.

Analytics folks love Mayfield then darnold. Football guys love darnold and Mayfield. There just isn't much love for Rosen and no love at all for Allen.

Now my two big fallers appear to be Fitzpatrick and Guice. We can probably get Fitz at 12 and Guice in the 2nd. Linebackers are shooting up.

Right. Lot of love for Mayfield. Lot of love for darnold but other than the unnamed friend of Dorsey, jst not much of anything for Allen and Rosen.

I will be ticked off if we go anywhere other than Darnold. Watch, if we do, the Giants will either snap him up in a second, or trade the #2 for a not so small fortune. crazy

I think that Darnold will be, by far, the best QB in this draft. I really hope that all of these "friends of" reports are just Dorsey playing games, and laughing as the press jump all over them.

Oof. That's not the way to be. You should at least have more than one you like. Otherwise, chances are, you'll be dissapointed.

My list is Rosen, Mayfield, Darnold. Those are the ones I'd be happy with, and in that order.

I'd be pumped if we draft Mayfield. Pumped if we draft Rosen. I'd be relieved if we drafted Darnold.

The only way I'm pissed is the Josh Allen thing. And that's because I feel that he's a significant step below my three.

Random draft stuff: The best way to , if you want a QB and Saquan Barkley, and if you assume,
Mayfields either going to the Browns at 1, or the Jets at 3

and If you assume Darnold is going either to the Browns at 1 or the Giants, or somebody else at 2.

And if you assume believe the Giants said they only would trade up for Darnold, and belive the Jets when they said they wanted Mayfield or Rosen at 3,

The best way to get Saquan Barkley to fall to number 4 is to take Mayfield at #1 and then force the hand of the jets if Darnold goes #2

The Jets would be forced to choose between Barkley or Rosen, and when they choose Rosen BAM! Barkley fell to you at #4.

Best case,

However, IF! you take Darnold, and since the Giants only want Darnold,

they'll take Barkley or ransom him to someone else, and then that give the Jets Mayfield at 3, which is their first hopeful choice,

which leaves at 4 and Rosen there, which everybody knows you won't take Darnold and then Rosen, so you've lost all leverage.

Can Deshaun Watson play better for the Browns, than Baker Mayfield would have? ... Now the Games count.

You don't take a lesser prospect to try to get another player to fall to you.

Having said that, I don't think Mayfield is necessarily a lesser prospect.
My Qb rankings are:

Mayfield and Darnold tied at one
My concern about Mayfield is his personality]If I met him and I am good with that then he is my #1

I have Rosen at #3
I have no concerns about his personality but I do worry about the concussions.

Lamar is #4
Randolph is #5

He was getting sick of where the discussion was headed I think. Almost as if he was angry that folks weren't listening to him and taking it personally when people posted speculation on guys.

I mean, I'm Team Rosen all the way, lol. He seems like a great pick to me. Great arm, throws with anticipation, and seems to be extremely football smart. Makes NFL Reads and everything. Plus, plenty of College Experience. Three year starter and all. Nothing to knock physically about the guy too.

But he just seemed to be getting pissed off at the board and then magically was gone. Maybe he'll come back after the draft.

Sony Michel - RB - Player

On his GM Street podcast, The Ringer's Mike Lombardi suggested Georgia RB Sony Michel could slip in the draft for medical reasons.

"There's a lot of teams telling me there's a medical concern here, so he could slip a little bit," said Lombardi, a longtime NFL executive who most recently worked for the Patriots. "His medical grade is a little iffy." Lombardi admitted he doesn't know exactly what the medical issue is. On tape, Michel is arguably the second-best running back in this class behind only Saquon Barkley.

Randolph Duke of Duke and Duke Securities.

So my Top 3 today, final, are

Mayfield, Mason Rudolph, then Lamar Jackson.

and even could live with, but I don't really like Sam Darnold.

And even see a hint of optimism for the versatility of Rosen, though I wish he'd won some more bowl games, even his regular games.

But I'm gonna go back to my original 7 put in my top 5, if I can remember.

1. Deshaun Watson
2. Baker Mayfield
3. Ryan Tannehill
4. Aaron Rogers
5. Drew Brees
6. Andy Dalton
7. Russell Wilson.

Just a quick thought, not a lot of overthinking going into it.

I was kinda making a funny. I like Darnold as well. Something about Rosen bugs me. I'm reading there are things the public doesn't know that is turning teams away from him.

Allen, and I'll puke.

I agree with the premise, but I'm not 100% sold we would take Barkley. Doesn't seem like a Dorsey thing to do. I don't think Barkley is the best pick for the franchise either. I'd bet we would take Chubb over Barkley.

I'm guessing it could be the medical. And a lot of analysts are picking him to possibly slide too. The two may be aligned.

If both Barkley and Chubb are there at #4, I think Dorsey leans Chubb. Though Dorsey seems to really like Ward.

Interesting thought (if I do say so myself) but isn't Duke in the last year of his contract? And we have yet to extend the contract/give him a new one. If we sign Barkley, does that lead to Duke leaving as a FA next year?

Barkley can do everything Duke can, and while I know Duke is a fan favorite of this board (mine too), he clearly isn't a favorite of Hue given how much he was underutilized the past 2 seasons.

That was my first thought when i heard they were working on an extension for Duke ..

If it gets done before the draft it would have told me we weren’t taking Quan ... the fact we haven’t re-signed Duke yet tells me Quan is a definite possibility at 4 ....

He has been posting in the 'Everything Else' forum. My guess is he is avoiding the draft forum.
