I could too but only due to the fact that I don't consider suicide an option.

Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

Chances are a good QB will still be there in the 2nd round or we could always trade back up into the first.

That's how we wound up with Brady Quinn and Deshon Kizer. In no small part, it's why we're picking #1 for the 2nd straight season.

this year, Barkley at 1 Fitz at 4 then next year Drew Lock QB Mizzou and Nick Bosa

Well we would probably be picking #1 again, I think maybe an NFL record for consecutive #1 picks.

We also would have a new coaching regime as we would get a new HC along with their Choice of OC n DC. you know, back to square one and once again no continuity.

To pass up on taking a Franchise QB in a strong QB class owning the overall #1 pick FINALLY at the right time and place. Would be a major disservice to this organization especially when the owner had earmarked the #1 priority for his new GM. heck I would fire Dorsey if that is the case.

Just doesn't make sense no QB taken?

The fact that no one is the CLEAR QB choice is revealing to me. Lock is a very good QB, may be the consensus choice.

Lets be smart, Tyrod is adequate for the next couple of years, lets build the team and get the CLEAR choice.

So what kind of deal do you sign him to? He's at $16 million this year. Do you give him $18 million per year, with big guarantees, or do you risk him walking at the end of the season?

None of the QB's in this draft class can beat out Taylor.

This year

Saint proposed having Tyrod as the starter for the next few years. I wanted to know what kind of contract he would sign him to.

No offense but i politely think That's hot garbage.

Coaches know their seat is burning hot. They want and need to win games this year. If one of these kids are better than Taylor--- they will start. However, none of them are.

Why is that? Getting two GREAT players that would help us THIS year is a nightmare? Much better to take a QB that will sit and do NOTHING for us this year? Because we are SO great a team we don't NEED the help?

If winning THIS year is the goal? This scenario is the way to go. Taking the best PLAYER in the draft at #1 and the best pass rusher and second best player in the draft at #4 is exactly the win NOW approach. Taking a guy you sit and then trading back at #4 is a long term lose NOW approach. You don't care about this year you are looking to the future... Hoping to develop players not drafting them to play right away.

Thats your opinion ... your entitled to it no matter how wrong it is ... wink ...

I’m not going to get into it with U ... we just disagree on who TT is ...

in order to start as a rookie u need to be given a shot in TC to win the job ... Baker will not be given that shot hence he can’t win it ....

In OUR offense? Or do you think we should run a college offense for him?

Who said winning this year is the MAIN goal? I think the only goal anyone in this organization is looking at is winning championships...not trying to get to .500.

Tyrod can get you to .500 and the playoffs, but do you really think he's the guy to get you a Lombardi?
