Ann Arbor is 1 1/2 hours away. Felt fortunate that we got to see Meghan Beaubien pitch today. She's a freshman that has the possibility of being Jenny Finch plus. Possibility. 27-2 this year, for her.

Cuomo is the Democrat Governor of New York who is a trust fund oaf that recently found himself scrambling to change every position he's ever held this week because he's been challenged by an actress trying to primary him.

He started the week by reiterating his desire to keep marijuana illegal and increase penalties. His opponent called for a full legalization of marijuana and pulled in a haul on tons of $4.20 donations.

The next day Cuomo came out and said maybe he'd kind of maybe look into legalizing marijuana.

He also adamantly denied that he runs the day to day of the NYC subway and is not responsible for its problems. She released an ad this week pledging to fix them and they next day, he pledged to fix them.

If no one in the Teump crew can be idiot of the week due to executive privilege, I pick Cuomo.

A) you believe that Trump, who literally found out yesterday morning that North Korea wouldn't just be giving up their nuclear testing, is "doing something"

or

B) you feel that "something", which would entail giving "Rocketman" a bunch of money and aid and arms, is somehow the antithesis of "kissing up to him"

Trump actually thought that Kim Jong-Il and Kim Jong-Un were the same person up to about 6 months ago.

And up until Sunday morning, he thought North Korea's announcement meant that they were going to suspend testing meant that they would just shut up shop. He had to be informed that this just meant it was a precursor to sitting down for negotiations.

Also, the entire argument for Obama being "weak" on or "kissing up" to North Korea was his willingness to sit down and negotiate an agreement to suspend nuclear testing.

Which is exactly what is proposed to happen in the future with Trump (though he'll have to have much more explained to him before he's caught up on the basics of what this entails).

Obama let NK get nukes . Trump is dealing with O's weakness. He let Iran get nukes then sent them a plane load of money to agree with a weak agreement.

This weekend, he got really angry at the TV and started shouting on Twitter about how he got North Korea to abandon its testing program and didn't have to give up anything in return.

He had to correct himself after being informed this wasn't the case.

They've conducted 3 minor tests, 2 of which were extremely low yield, and back in '09 claimed they tested a hydrogen bomb, but it turned out they just made it up. And one successful TNT test in 2017.

3) Why do think when Obama gave Iran concessions and unfroze their assets to abandon their nuclear testing that it was weak, but yet when Trump appears poised to sit down and negotiate giving North Korea concessions and unfreezing their asset in return for a scale for a scale down you think "he's doing something"?

I know that's a tough question given that you apparently thought North Korea and Iran had functional nuclear weapons up until just now, but think it over.

North Korea doesn't "have nukes". They've had one successful TNT blast, but probably don't have the shells to launch it with any significance yet.

Shortly after that test, they paraded an old empty Soviet warhead through the streets and declared themselves a nuclear power.

I've seen nothing that strongly indicates Iran has nukes. They have curtailed all nuclear enrichment programs that put them in compliance with the Iran deal. The "money we gave them" was nothing more than releasing their own frozen assets.

When it comes to North Korea, they had been working on their nuclear program since Clinton was president. So if they actually have nukes, both parties are equally as responsible.

Now I can't say if N. Korea actually has nukes or not. I would venture to say that if they do, I don't actually believe they have the capability to accurately deploy them long range.

The reason for my skepticism is rather simple. I watched our government cherry pick information to inform the American people that Iraq had massive stockpiles of chemical weapons. And as much as you may not wish to hear what PDF has to say, he and I were the only ones that I can recall that made that call on this board. He found many sources from other nations that disputed the assertion that Iraq had these stockpiles of chemical weapons.

Our government refused to tell the American people about any of that. Instead they chose to only tell us their reasoning for war. They used the most damning intel they could find to scare the American people. The assertions that both PDR and myself claimed turned out to be true.

So after that experience I think you can understand why I simply don't trust what our government tries to spoon feed us.
