Catharine Zeta-Jones is perhaps one of the most beautiful women in the world. Her and Marilyn Monroe (yes, I know Marilyn's been dead for years...) Forget these chicks that are famous just for being famous (ie Paris Hilton) or no-talent pop princesses (ie Britney & Jessica).

See, as I see it... there are women who are sexy... and women who are hot.... and they are two COMPLETELY different things.

Hot is poster material or music video material... Jessica Simpson is hot.. Paris, not so much in my opinion... "hot" women are a dime a dozen as far as I'm concerned... google "hot women" and you can spend all day looking at millions of them....

Sexy, on the other hand.. is a combination of physical beauty with some combination of attitude, self-confidence, charm, intellect, sense of humor..... it's really hard to explain... Catherine Zeta Jones is sexy... Katherine Hepburn was the definition of sexy...

That's why girls that are "hot" aren't so hot unkempt but sexy women are sexy 24 hours a day, 7 days a week...

DC~To me, in order to hot, you have to be sexy. I do not find trashy women sexy (re: Jessica Simpson and Paris Hilton). And Catharine Zeta-Jones was somewhat of a pop princess in Wales before overcoming that and being a very good actress. <img src="/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> I guess it's that no talent part that gets me. Given that this was in the 1920s, this is hardly the picture of an "uptight, puritanical, Presbyterian"... in fact it's downright progressive....

She was beautiful and her charm and wit are unparalleled...


There is a natural beauty in that face that you won't find in a whole lot of women...
