We need an investigation into these Refs. Just unacceptable.

They look at the play, and call a flagrant 2. Unbelievable. Unacceptable. Unreal.

“To announce that there must be no criticism of the President, or that we are to stand by the President, right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public.”
I cannot believe they called that a flagrant. That was as bad as any other of the really horrible calls in this game. Wow.

If he was honest, he would have said "The officials, and that JR musta got high."

I hate blaming the referees, but holy [censored] did we ever get screwed tonight. 4 or 5 terrible calls in the last minutes that even the announcers were questioning. One review that even a former referee thought should go in favor of the Cavs. And a flagrant 2 called for a touch foul. What in the freaking heck??? I'm livid.

From about the 4:00 minute mark in the game, GSW got every call they could possible ask for and more to win that game.. I know everybody will focus on JRs bonehead play.. but it should have never come to that.
On a different note, if I'm going to go conspiracy theory.. I have a still of Draymond when he jabbed Bron in the face.. he goes up for the block but his eyes aren't looking at the ball, which is over his head.. his eyes are looking at Brons face, right where his hand is firmly planted.. Hitting Bron in the face was 100% intentional.
Draymond Green is, always has been, and always will be, a dirty player .... yet somehow he gets away with all of his crap.

That’s why I said it should have been reviewed for a flagrant because it was green. I hate every person on that team

I haven't felt this screwed over by referees since bottlegate.
Yep, usually there is an ebb and flow and bad calls even out and the last team that got screwed complains.. in this instance it was the entire last 4 minutes and about 4 or 5 calls that all went the same way...
Eve, I was kind of thinking the same thing.. we gave them our best shot on the road tonight and got screwed... I honestly thought, if we win our games at home, we might have 2 chances at GSW where we can keep it close enough to win.. I expect us to lose a couple of them by a wide margin... This was one we could have/should have won...
we gave them our best shot on the road tonight and got screwed...
That's kind of why I'm so ticked off right now. We had to have everything fall our way to steal one at Oracle, and we somehow had that happen. Only for refs to screw us. Just completely deflating.
I literally can't sleep.. this is unhealthy... LeBron was beating arguably the greatest NBA team ever assembled, on the road, in the finals, almost single-handedly.. and had it ripped away by crappy officiating.
OAKLAND Cleveland Cavaliers coach Tyronn Lue said his team was robbed as the result of a reversed call that potentially altered the outcome of Game 1 of the NBA Finals on Thursday night.
With Cleveland leading 104-102, Golden State’s Kevin Durant was called for a charge, which would’ve given the Cavaliers the ball with 36.4 seconds left in the fourth quarter.
However, after referee Kenny Mauer called the charge, referees huddled, reviewed the play and called a block on LeBron James. Durant tied the score with two free throws, and Golden State went on to win in overtime, 124-114.
James and the Cavs were irate.
Referees can review a block/charge call “when they are not reasonably certain as to whether the defender was inside or outside of the restricted area,” during the last two minutes of the fourth quarter and during all of overtime.
At that point, they can change the call even if the player was outside the restricted area, according to the rule. However, James was not close to the restricted area.
“I mean, they called a charge, right?” Lue said. “And LeBron was clearly four feet outside the restricted area. So it doesn't make sense to go review something if – the review is if he's on the line or if he's close to the charge circle. That's the review. He wasn't close. So what are we reviewing? Either call a blocking foul or call an offensive foul.
“For our team to come out and play their hearts out and compete the way we did, man, I mean, it's bad. It's never been done before where you know he's outside the restricted, and then you go there and overturn the call and say it's a block. It's never been done, ever, in the history of the game. And then (Thursday) in the Finals on the biggest stage, when our team played well, played our (butt) off, man, it ain't right. It ain't right.”
It may have been the right call. It did not look like James was in position to draw a charge. Lue objected to the circumstance which triggered the review.
James scored a playoff career-high 51 points in the loss.
“To do what he did tonight and come out robbed, it's just not right,” Lue said.
James said he knew his feet were outside the restricted area.
"I read that play just as well as I've read any play in my career, maybe in my life," he said. "I saw the play happening. I knew I was outside the charge line, and I knew I took the hit. I don't know what else to say."
