Take them to the hospital.

You don't think they already tried that? So the docs can prescribe him thousands of dollars of medication with a ton of side effects that don't do anywhere near as much good as a little bit of weed was doing?

Ones legal the other is illegal.

One works the other doesn't.

There have been a couple instances where I've knowingly broken the law in situations like this..... and in both cases, I'd do it again in a heartbeat.

The problem is that people think the laws they follow are moral, when they are not.

I’m confused here.

Exactly how many people on this board are against legalization?

And why?

The parents of the victims of MS-13 and the Illegals would disagree with u ...

As would the hostages from NK and the other 14 that have been released under his watch ... or don’t u consider him doing what was needed to get them released SPEAKING UP FOR THEM ....

Because Big Pharma (the pharmaceutical lobbyists) want marijuana kept illegal. In their world? Pharmaceuticals = good, natural remedies = bad.

whats sad is the same people who go "move to other state" are the same ones who tell people that if they dont like the country, leave.

glad to know we have conservatives who like running from problems instead of addressing them.

thats pretty soft, IMO.

Meh.
Conservatives simply say stop your whining and obey the Law.
Criminals just don't seem to get that message and think they are above the Law.

Well actually moving to a state where it is legal is a better solution than braking the law and being put in jail and have your child taken from you shame you can't realize that through your hate.

I wonder about this story...

Obviously, it's a travesty if the parent's claims are true.

However, I don't automatically believe everything I read.

I was a teacher for a long, long time and I have done a lot of volunteer work w/troubled youths. I want y'all to read this part closely:

It is extremely difficult for the state to remove a child from the home.

Children's Services are completely overwhelmed and can't keep up w/all the horrific reports of child abuse and neglect. There are tons of children living in homes w/incompetent and abusive parents.

It is one of America's biggest blemishes.

Thus, I find it hard to believe that this child was removed from the home for simply failing a drug test. I don't believe it.

Good thing the people who fought for independence didn’t have such a weak mentality like you and Vambo.

Swear some of y’all just accept whatever is in front of you. If the government is royalty, then you’re certainly the peasant, doing whatever they say without question.

Keep whining and be a criminal, see what it gets you in a Nation of Laws. Laws of, by, and for the people. Past into Law by our Representatives, not by a guy named swish.

Alcohol was legal, then illegal, then legal again, all based on the will of the people and the Laws of the Land.

I would have to say that might be because the tide is turning as far as marijuana is concerned. Certain states are voting for it to be legal, or at least for certain conditions/diseases. It is no longer demonized as a drug so much.

BTW it can be used to treat cancer too.

make sure you hide in the basement with the women and children while real men fight for change.

you would've been the dude pledging your loyalty to the crown while people fought for independence.

Pretty much everything. You can read more about it in The New Jim Crow: Mass Incarceration in the Age of Colorblindness by, fellow Buckeye, Michelle Alexander.

But that wasn't Swish's point, at least I don't think so. He's just showing how these legalist arguments work.

This is a question for you and Swish because I don't give a rat's butt what Vambo and 40 think.

Do you guys really believe the parent's version of this story? Did you read my earlier post about Children's Services? Or, does that not matter in the interest in belittling one another?
