This is the kinda game/win vs a quality opponent that can grow a teams confidence and can give a team a much needed jump start.

Shaw's splits between Home / Away are pretty telling. He's twice as bad at home.

I watched last night's game and Alonso gave us that dire hard needed home run. We was blessed with a very tough win via the Indians AND the Cavs yesterday.

I'm not sure how I feel about Otero. I know we're in need of bullpen help, but...

Plutko back again today. We'll be watching.

Indians RHP prospect Shane Bieber will make his MLB debut this Thursday vs the Minnesota Twins. Bieber this season has made a meteoric rise between AA & AAA now off to Cleveland.

looking forward to seeing Bieber

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

Bieber: 3 walks in 65.1 innings. That's crazy good. K/BB ratio is over 30:1.

According to Tito, Shane Bieber will make a spot start on Thursday to give Bauer, who just threw 127 pitches, an extra day.

I have nothing to contribute if a pun thread starts on Beiber. Because I know almost nothing about either one.

Beiber has flown through the various Minor Leagues, and seems to have gotten better with each promotion.

He started out at Mahoning Valley, and dominated in the short league. (24 IP, 2 BB, 21 K, 1 ER allowed)

From the start of 2017, to today, he went from rookie league, to A, to AA, to AAA, and now to the Majors.

In his Minor League career he has allowed 15 walks, and 244 strikes outs. He has really good stuff, with a lot of movement. I am surprised to see him this soon, but I think the Indians want to see how he does in the Bigs. He has not been shaken by anything so far in his Minoe League career.

I think that he'll be a front of the rotation quality starter in a few years.

Kluber bobblehead day. with the fam. One of the hotter games I've been to. High humidity, no breeze and zero cloud coverage.

Pierre's and Sweet Moses were running out of ice cream. Saw two elderly folks taken out on stretchers from the heat.

Brantley extended his MLB best hitting streak to 17 games and the CWS defense was bad.

If I'm not mistaken, the Indians currently have 4 players on pace for 100 RBIs:

Brantley
Encarnacion (one short)
Ramirez
Alonso

Didn't take long for Encarnacion to catch-up.

Well, tonight’s game could be very big for Tribe fans.

Shane Bieber makes his highly anticipated major league debut.

Could Bieber be the next Bob Feller?

Of course not.

Bob Feller is the greatest player to ever pitch in major league history.

Feller skipped the minors and started with the Indians at 17 years-old.

He didn’t play during the 4 most productive years of his life.

From age 23-to-27 he served as a Chief Petty Officer on the U.S. Alabama.

A selfless, patriot.

Feller still put up Hall-of-Fame statistics.

Anyway, back to Bieber. He can’t be “another Bob Feller”.

But he could be another “Mad Dog” (Greg Maddox - never walked batters, 4 consecutive Cy Young Awards)).

OK, that’s a stretch too.

Beiber's Minor Leagus career has been nothing short of incredible.

He has improved as he has climbed the Minor League ladder .....

Think about this ..... in 2016, he was in the NY Penn league. Last year he went from A, to A advanced, to AA. This year from AA to AAA. In his Minor League career, in 282 innings, he has walked 15 batters, while striking out 244. shocked

Man, I can't wait to see him tonight. I can't believe they brought him up already.

If he doesn't do well tonight, don't shoot the Bieber. After all, he's just a kid in his 2nd full season of pro baseball.

If the NBA offers some lame apology for all the blown calls in the final few minutes, they should all be fired. If they don't own up to it and apologize, they should all be fired.

I'm not sure.

Let's see. $89/3.5 months of regular season left = $25/month.

No.

That's like the regular monthly price.

You can get that price any time.

There was definitely a monthly price discount. Kind of like "a gift for dad" on Father's Day.

I'll guess it was ~ $60 for remainder of the season.

Hey water.

There's a way around "blacked-out games".

I don't know how to do it, but I've seen it done. (otherwise here in CT, all Yankee, Red Sox and Mets games are blacked out.)

I think it involves a special web site and somehow you can mask your PC's address. (proxy?)

So it looks like your PC is in Timbuktu.

Which is great. As long as you're not a Timbuktu sports fan.

Then it sucks.
